Recorded at the Texas International Pop Festival on August 31, 1969. Disc 1 includes familiar audience sources, such as Tarantura's "Plays Pure Bob" (BOB-001), which are bootlegs. The sound quality is quite excellent for audience recordings of that time (recording time 64 minutes 27 seconds). The familiar tape playback trouble at 50 seconds is surprising, but the bass note sound, which is at the limit and works well (it's coming, it's coming), is the best in the warm sound image. Disc 2 includes familiar sources that have also been bootlegged many times, such as Whoopy Cat's "Plays Pure Blues" (WCP-910121) (recording time 62 minutes 48 seconds). Each disc is characterized by the natural sound of the master itself, without any equalization processing. Each disc contains the best version with its unprocessed natural texture. All discs are definitive editions with accurately corrected pitch. Not only is this a representative live recording of this period, but it is also one of the most important live recordings throughout Zeppelin's career, and this is a must-have recording for fans, featuring two recordings from the prestigious Unmarked Cassettes Transfer.
