The 70s 8mm archive has been suddenly lively recently. The latest edition, "1977 Madison Square Garden Edition", has been decided to be released. Madison Square Garden (hereafter MSG) was the venue where LED ZEPPELIN performed the most, along with the "LA Forum". The most concentrated of these were the six consecutive performances in 1977. This work is a compilation of audience shots taken at the "June 1977 MSG performance". Recently, 8mm excavation and audio synchronization have been actively used to create works, and video titles such as "MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 1970 8mm", "LANDOVER 1975 8mm", "DESTROYER 8mm", and "L.A. FORUM 1977 8? UPGRADE" are very popular in our shop. This work is the "1977 MSG" version, and it can be said to be the latest, longest, and greatest masterpiece. The biggest point of this work is that it is a long work that exceeds about an hour. The content is largely composed of four sections, so let's introduce each one individually. Day 3 (June 10: 6 minutes 20 seconds) First, the video of the "June 10th performance", which is the third day of six consecutive performances. The video is a total of 6 and a half minutes with partial footage of seven songs. On this day, the main focus was on distant views, but it was shot from different seats from the right to the left. You can't expect a zoom that is reminiscent of a professional shot, but on the contrary, you can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the mood of the entire stage, which is difficult to understand in photos. In terms of image quality, it is the most beautiful in this work, and the fine texture of the film is vividly depicted. Day 4 (June 11: 34 minutes 7 seconds) Next, the main part of this work. It is the fourth day "June 11th" performance. The awesomeness of this video is its length and close-up. This work is an exceptional masterpiece of over an hour for an 8mm video work, but more than half of it, 34 minutes, is taken up by the video of this day. Not only is there a lot of footage, each cut is unusually long. When it comes to 8mm footage from the 70s, many of them are at a level where you can't tell what song it is, but this footage is completely immersive. Of course, you can't expect a full song, but those who are used to 8mm footage will be surprised that they were able to shoot such a long video in the 70s. And what is depicted in that long length is an amazing close-up. It was captured from the first floor arena, and both Plant and Page are close. The photographer is clearly aiming for "zoom life", and even if it means sacrificing stability, he goes on the offensive in search of a close-up of the powerful force. Thanks to that, you can enjoy the crisp action as if it were right in front of you. Final day (June 14th: 3 minutes 20 seconds) The third is footage from the final day of the six consecutive performances, "June 14th". The shooting position remains the same for this footage, and it is captured diagonally from the stands on the right side of the stage. In terms of distance, it is somewhere between the two above, and it is both easy to see and powerful. Official Clips (3 types: 21 minutes 50 seconds) The last section is a collection of footage that, unlike the above, does not have a set shooting date. This is a video clip released on the official channel of a certain major site. The technique of synchronizing the audience recording with the 8mm footage is the same, but the angles and distances change one after another, and the highlights of the show are digested without determining which day the performers were (only the third clip seems to use the film from "June 14th"), making it very diverse. The total length of the three clips is about 22 minutes, but you can stare at them carefully without getting bored. This is a collection of 8mm films that lasts for 1 hour and 6 minutes. Normally, 8mm works are not enough for about 10-20 minutes, but this work is a different dimension of excitement. Moreover, since the content is the on-site experience of MSG in 1977, you will definitely be full. This is a historical video masterpiece that was made possible in this day and age when video editing has become easier due to technological advances. The latest work from the 70's 8mm archive has been released. This is a compilation of film taken at six consecutive MSG performances in 1977, and is not only a valuable work but also an epic masterpiece that is over an hour long, which is an extraordinary feat for an 8mm film.
