A few days ago, rare footage of Led Zeppelin from 1975 suddenly appeared on the Internet, surprising enthusiasts all over the world. It is an 8mm audience shot video of them at Olympia Stadium in Detroit on January 31st. As with their 8mm discs that have been discovered so far, it is far from a complete recording of the stage, and on the contrary, the recording time was just over 6 minutes. However, the early state of the 1975 American tour is beautifully condensed in this short video. The photographer initially filmed "Kashmir" from the stands, but entered the arena during the next performance of "No Quarter" (therefore, only a few scenes of this song were seen). Filming resumed in earnest from the next song, "Trampled Underfoot," and when Jimmy bends during the solo of this song, it's interesting to get a glimpse of the stage performance of the plant leaning back in time. However, what is noteworthy is that it captures the scene where the 1975 version of “How Many More Times” is played, although it is fragmentary. Jimmy injured his finger just before the start of the tour, so the repertoire was suddenly revived in place of "Dazed And Confused" during January. Although it is short, if you look at it with the video like this, you will almost want to lean forward just because the members wrapped in the looks of the 75-year mode will play "How Many More Times" for the first time in a while. It's interesting that the tempo is faster than previous performances, and you can clearly see that Jimmy was showing off his promised bowing play and production in the middle of this song instead of "Dazed And~" . On the other hand, Plant is still recovering from a severe cold in Chicago, so it may be difficult for him to sing this song, but the fact that you can see him singing this song is groundbreaking. Of course, the close-up close-up that allows you to see the expressions of each member is an undesirable audience shot video, but the video quality is still sufficient to give a glimpse of their appearance and staging at the beginning of the 1975 tour. Best of all, the audio from the audience recording on the same day has been carefully dubbed, making it even more enjoyable as a live video. Although it is certainly a short video, its value is more than enough. Live at Olympia Stadium, Detroit, MI, USA 31st January 1975 Synched with excellent-audio 1. Kashmir 2. No Quarter 3. MC 4.
