Two legendary LPs containing the Earl's Court performance on May 24, 1975 are played on turntables for high-end users and recorded on CD. These LPs were released in the mid-1970s and are the first historical title to tell the story of a series of live performances at Earl's Court. Moreover, these LPs were not only historic, but also had the first double-sided color printing in ZEP's live boot history, and a coated jacket, which was extremely sophisticated at the time, making them instant best sellers. , and even more so, it was a groundbreaking release that spawned numerous copies. For this recording, we used the original press with clear jacket printing, especially for ``EARLS COURT 2'', to ensure that both titles were recorded in their best condition. This time, we are focusing on reprinting the original LP, and since it is a live show that now has a lot of sound sources and videos, we intentionally recorded the songs without changing the order of the songs that were different when they were recorded on the LP. I am. The sound source used here is wrapped in the hall echo peculiar to Earl's Court, but it still captures the performance surprisingly well. Before the items of this day were enriched as they are now, a full-length version of this day's item by audience recording was released, but it boasts a sound quality that easily exceeds that. Yes, the very good sound quality for the time was also a factor in why these LPs became best sellers. However, thanks to this random order of songs, you can see that the sound quality and sound image are clearly different depending on the song. For example, in the songs played in the first half of the live performance, such as In My Time Of Dying and Kashmir, the separation of performances is not good. However, from around No Quarter, the balance became quite good, and the acoustic songs with few instruments had a very spacious sound quality, and at the end of the live performance, Stairway To Heaven, the sound quality changed to a very active sound quality. This seems to reflect the synergistic effect of the improvement in the sound from the PA that was at the venue and the change in the position of the recording person. Indeed, it cannot be denied that these days it has more value as a historical document than as a sound source. However, on the current CD, there are sounds such as the chorus harmony by the three members other than Plant on Tangerine that cannot be heard at all in the video or soundboard sound source (though it was a little off on this day compared to Earl's Court and other days). I think it will sound fresh to those who are used to watching movies and DVDs. And, please fully enjoy the feel of vintage LPs with titles of high documentary value carefully packed with unique sound sources that can only be heard on these LPs.
