Led Zeppelin never had a peak. Each era has its own charm that is hard to match, and the early, middle, and later eras are like different bands, each with a unique approach to their songs, and which one is better? They coexist rather than at such a level. There is no doubt that the year 1973 brings to mind the movie ``Eternal Poetry''. Compared to the footprints left by Zeppelin, there are not many video works by Zeppelin. Of course, there are many photographs left, so it is possible to trace the visual changes of each era, but as a Zeppelin that moves and plays, it is the final blow to the movie "Eternal Poetry". A slim Jimmy moves around the stage with his guitar in his arms, while Robert, wearing a costume that reveals his naked body like a Greek sculpture, shouts with his blonde hair dancing. Bonzo hits like a wild beast, and Jonesy silently plays the bass line. This image of Zeppelin was undoubtedly formed by the movie Eternal Poetry. Also, although there may be criticism because the composition is not just pure live footage, I wrote at the beginning that Zeppelin never had a peak, but in terms of the perfection of performance, 1973 can be said to be the peak. Isn't it? Zeppelin's live shows are performed with full power and loud volume without cutting corners...this is the word that was reported in a newspaper article at the time. It was on the 1973 US tour that Zeppelin's live show, which was a direct yet to the point expression and the rumors had grown, showed a performance that exceeded expectations. Around this time, there were many shows, the composition was standardized, there were no major changes in the set list, and it could be said that it was the so-called industrial rock run that traveled by jet across the United States. Although there may be some drawbacks, each concert has a high degree of perfection. Zeppelin's stage performance during this period was truly perfect, and although there were some imperfections by the members, no matter which performance you listened to, their overwhelming performance overwhelmed other bands of the same period. The 1970s was the era of Zeppelin. Even so, the 1973 set list is a perfect composition. “Rock and Roll” instantly sparks from the opening. The riff of ``ga-gaan'' is irresistibly cool. Then, breathlessly, they connect with ``Festival Day'' in a medley. This opening medley has become a staple of Zeppelin's live shows. "Misty Mountain Hop" and "Keep Loving You" are also played in the medley. The latter in particular is a "do" blues, showing off a range of musicality that goes beyond just hard rock. ``No Quarter'', which has an atmosphere of floating in a gelatin sea with effects applied to the vocals, followed by the intense overture ``Eternal Poem'', followed by the quiet and beautiful ``Rain Song''. The music mixes slow and fast to keep the listener from getting bored. And then there's the highlight in the middle of the song, ``I'm Dazzled.'' The dramatic development that can be heard here can be seen as the completed version of the song. Although it is a long performance lasting about 30 minutes, it is perfect, with no extravagant details, and while maintaining a well-honed and carefully thought-out structure, it still leaves room for playing with sensitivity. Robert's vocals also work in concert with the guitar as an instrument, creating a phantasmagoric "tone." There's a violin/bow performance in the middle, a thrilling scene with key changes, and a return to the basic melody at the end, so listening to it all the way through is filled with a sense of fulfillment, as if you've read a whole story. ``Moby Dick'' is a break for members other than Bonzo. In other words, Bonzo is doing that drumming on stage without a break, and I am once again overwhelmed by Bonzo's inhuman power. ``Heartbreaker'' is followed by ``A Heartful of Love,'' which becomes a medley, and the concert reaches a climax where the expression ``flowing in'' is perfect. The famous heavy riff is played so loud that it drowns out the cheers of the audience. The eerie sound of the theremin, and a number of medleys inserted in the middle. After going through various developments, the song returns to the riff and concludes the song. The encore is "Communication Breakdown". It is a concert that seems to have condensed the charm of Zeppelin, with a perfect set list and song order with no gaps whatsoever. Now, what is included in this work is the May 14th New Orleans performance from this 1973 North American tour. The first half of the 1973 North American tour began in early June, with an interval of approximately one month, and the second half began in July. New Orleans is the first half of the concert, and it is also the early concert, and it is the 7th performance out of 36 performances overall. The sound board sound source of this New Orleans performance has been leaked for a long time. However, the sound source was only available from the middle of "Rock and Roll", and there were gaps everywhere. And this is the fatal point, but even though it is a sound board, the sound quality is poor. Although it was a soundboard, it had a flat sound with no sense of realism, the range was narrow and the overall sound was muffled, and the soundboard had a light tone. On the other hand, there is also an audience sound source on the same day, which is one of the best in comparison to the audiences of other performances at the same time, and is recorded with very wonderful sound quality. In addition to the sense of realism, the atmosphere of the day that surrounds the entire concert is recorded in a well-balanced manner, and the audience sound source will be overwhelmingly preferred. Therefore, this work is composed of a complete recording of the New Orleans performance by using this high-quality audience sound source as the main source and supplementing the missing parts with the sound board sound source. The specific missing parts in the audience sound source are parts of “Rain Song” and “Moby Dick”. Both songs have been edited so that they don't feel out of place, so you can listen to them with stable sound quality. A complete recording of the May 14, 1973 New Orleans performance by supplementing the high-quality audience sound source with a sound board sound source. The main audience sound source is one of the best compared to other performances of the same period, and has high sound quality that even surpasses the sound board sound source. It is a title that allows you to fully reproduce the wonderful and perfect Zeppelin's dramatic live performance with a sense of realism. MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM, NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, U.S.A.
