Oh my goodness... An 8-minute video of the day of Led Zeppelin's rare performance and famous recording "LIVE ON BLUEBERRY HILL" has been unearthed! The last 8-minute video of ZEP's stage at this time was the Madison Square Garden video on the last day of the tour, but this time the video of the Blueberry Hill show at the LA Forum has finally been revealed. In September, 52 years after the live performance (the recording from that day has become public domain), the video was discovered online and it was announced that it would be released. Of course, the release date was September 4th, the day of the live performance, which was a nice touch. The person who filmed this shocking video was Eddie Vincent, who recorded the recording that was stopped by Peter Grant, which was the highlight of "L.A. FORUM 1971 1ST NIGHT: 3 SOURCE MIX" recently. He participated in the LA Forum in not only 1971 but also 1970. What an enviable ZEP experience! At the beginning of the video, he talks about the shooting episode, and on the day, he got a seat right behind and in front of the stage, and took pictures from there with an 8-inch camera. However, since it is a home 8-inch camera, the specs can only shoot in 30-second increments at a time. Therefore, the video is not only chopped up, but it was less than 8 minutes long in total. However, the shooting position worked well, and the video was very impressive and the image quality was surprisingly clear. It is hard to believe that it is an 8-inch camera that has been sleeping for more than 50 years. Such precious footage was dubbed by a maniac using the same day sound source, and it has finally become a wonderful live record video. The main scenes recorded are the performances of "Since I've Been Loving You" and "Thank You", and in particular, the appearance of Johnsy playing the organ at the beginning of the latter is captured at a wonderful angle, which will make you feel emotional and think, "This is really the video of that day...". And the best part is the long performance scene of "Some Other Guy" in the "Whole Lotta Love" medley, which is so shocking that you can't help but lean forward. It is one of the scenes that truly symbolizes "Blueberry Hill Day", and I never thought that the day would come when I could see this scene on video. I'm really glad to be alive! As I said at the beginning, it's a shocking excavation video that you never get tired of watching, even though it is a total of 7 minutes, chopped up and the whole angle captures the members other than Bonzo who is playing. After all, it's a video version of Blueberry Hill. This is an undeniable holy grail that is a must-see even for those who are not ZEP enthusiasts.
