During the 1977 LA Forum series, Millard did not attend the concert, and as a result, no good quality audience recordings were found, leaving the second day of the forum in an "ugly duckling" state. This is the Barry Goldstein recording that made this shocking and historic upgrade possible. In addition, the remastering by dadgad was a masterpiece this time, and it was his version that was adopted for the CD, but it is natural that enthusiasts would want to listen to the "Flat Transfer" version. So this is how Goldstein's audience master was left as it was. However, listening to the "Flat Transfer" version in this way will make you realize even more how outstanding the dadgad remastering is. First of all, the basic sound quality itself is suddenly clear with the overwhelming victory of the remaster. It is true that Goldstein's master itself is much easier to listen to than the old-generation version that was once available, but it is also true that when the tune becomes particularly intense, the bass becomes saturated and sounds rumbling and harsh to the ears. I am in awe of the skill with which they managed to contain this condition to such an extent and still achieve a clear sound. Even so, the difference in the sound quality is just too great.
