Larry Carlton/Switerland 2011

The live footage has arrived in professional shots. July 1, 2011, on stage at a jazz festival in Lugano, Switzerland. This year, we won a Grammy for our planned album, so we feel like we're on a roll. This is a performance by a trio that has been working steadily for a while now. Anyway, the growth of my two young partners is remarkable. We receive videos of this trio every year at our store, and if you are an avid fan, I'm sure you'll nod. It felt like Larry was always leading the way, but now it feels like they're competing as equals, creating a sense of tension and at the same time creating a very full-bodied ensemble. The recording time will be 70 minutes.
