A live performance in San Francisco in 1990 is recorded with professional shots. A strong lineup with Kirk Whalum, John Ferraro, John Peña, and Terry Trotta. Bluesy, mellow, and sometimes wild, this is a dynamic, smooth, and mesmerizing performance. In addition to popular songs from leader albums, it also features numbers by Crusaders and Steely Dan, and perfectly reproduces them. You can see the extent of Larry's contribution to each band. The second half is a special program in which Larry himself talks about himself. He explains everything from the day he first picked up a guitar, the musicians who influenced him, his career path, and his current guitar style, with lots of videos included. It's a French program, so they speak very slowly and in plain English, probably because they're targeting French people, and there are no Japanese subtitles, but it's pretty easy to understand, and I think fans will enjoy it. The recording time will be 60 minutes.
