Japan has discovered a new type of music, "synth pop." A live album recording such a historic night will be released. That historic night was "September 7, 1981: Nakano Sunplaza." This work is an audience album containing the first day of KRAFTWERK's first tour to Japan. This week, the world premiere of the Kinney recording “TOKYO 1981 3RD NIGHT” will also be released, so let’s first check the position on the tour schedule. ・September 7th: Nakano Sunplaza [This work] ・September 8th: Nakano Sunplaza “COMPUTER WORLD IN TOKYO” (FM) ・September 10th: Shibuya Public Hall “TOKYO 1981 3RD NIGHT” ・September 11th : Osaka Festival Hall / September 13th: Nagoya City Public Hall "COMPUTER WORLD IN NAGOYA" As you can see, their first visit to Japan will feature a total of 5 performances. Although the number of recordings on this tour is small, the quality is a treasure trove. All of them except Osaka have wonderful recordings. Among them, this work has reigned as the longest and best audience. In fact, the sound of this work is truly wonderful. Although it was dethroned by the Kinney recording “TOKYO 1981 3RD NIGHT” released this week, the quality was praised as “like a sound board” at the time. The core of the musical tone is extremely thick, and each note of the synth is extremely clear and very close. The source is the same master as “JAPAN TOUR 1981” released in 2002, but the quality is at a level that is not so common even by modern standards with advanced digital equipment. Furthermore, in the original master, the second half of "Autobahn" and the last part of "Trans-Europe Express" and "Pocket Calculator", which were separated by tape changes, have been carefully processed. Unfortunately, the encore last “It’s More Fun To Compute” was not recorded, but it is the best version of the existing first day record. The first day is depicted with such sounds, and the atmosphere of encountering new music is irresistible. From the moment the performance began, there was a feeling of ``this is about to be the first experience'', and even in the silence, tension ran through the air. Cheers erupt as soon as the members appear, and they are filled with concentration as they try to record their every move on the digital beat. That mood gradually loosened up with each song, and during "Pocket Calculator" and "The Robots," it turned into loud applause and applause. From the nervousness of ``no one has experienced this in Japan yet,'' to the joy of ``this is synth pop.'' This flow that hangs in the venue is the first experience, the wind of the first day of your first visit to Japan. 35 years since the live performance. Finally, a new masterpiece "TOKYO 1981 3RD NIGHT" that will break the record for the first visit to Japan has been discovered. Since this is such a memorable week, we would like you to check out the famous recordings that have defended their title and continued to convey the wonders of KRAFTWERK's first visit to Japan.
