What a recording, what a sound, what “beauty”. A special live album by Kinney Master, released for the first time in the world, has appeared. Until now, we have reprinted many Kinney recordings from the original cassettes, but this one is... definitely a masterpiece. This work was recorded on “September 10, 1981: Shibuya Public Hall”. This is KRAFTWERK's first performance in Japan. First of all, let's start by checking the schedule. ・September 7th: Nakano Sunplaza “DENTAKU: FIRST LIVE IN JAPAN” ・September 8th: Nakano Sunplaza “COMPUTER WORLD IN TOKYO” (FM) ・September 10th: Shibuya Public Hall [This work] ・September 11th: Osaka Festival Hall ・September 13th: Nagoya City Public Hall “COMPUTER WORLD IN NAGOYA” This memorable first visit to Japan will feature a total of 5 performances. This work is the third performance in the middle. From the first visit to Japan, the second day "September 8th" has been broadcast on FM radio, and audience recordings of the first day "September 7th" and the last day "September 13th (Nagoya)" have been unearthed. We have introduced each of them at our store. This work's "September 10th" is different from either of those, and is the first concert to be released by this work. The “first public release beyond 35 years” is shocking, but the sound of this work is much more than that. The performances in Japan so far have been praised as ``just like a sound board!'' even for audience recordings, but even with those masterpiece recordings, it is not a match. Normally, I would repeat words like ``the core of the musical tone,'' ``the edge,'' and ``the ringing,'' but even that becomes ridiculous. Although it does not have a "direct connection feeling like putting a plug in your ear" like the FM broadcast "COMPUTER WORLD IN TOKYO: TOKYO 1981", the clarity is on the same level. On the contrary, the faint sense of space is transparent, and it even has the beauty of a classical orchestral recording. No, of course I know that it is a wild argument to equate orchestra and techno pop. But it's so clear. In fact, it is a beautiful recording in which the warm yet delicate sound of the synth shines like crystal glass. And the synth pop that is the best of our time, drawn with that quality, is also amazing. Nowadays, concerts are computer-controlled, but at the time, they were performed manually using huge equipment that was said to have taken an entire studio. And the applause given to the performance is also beautiful. While the applause of each person was clear, the way the 2,000 people gathered and poured onto the stage was as delicate and gentle as autumn rain. It seems that it was recorded in the front seats (rows) on the first floor, but there are no nearby voices or applause, and only the spectacle of 2,000 people spreads deliciously behind the straight-forward musical sounds. The breath of the audience, the humanity of the performance, and the feeling of Ralf Hütter's singing voice filling the venue with crystal clear clarity is truly the utopia of a live album. What's even better is that it's completely recorded. Although this Japanese performance had a high-quality record, there was a lack somewhere. The FM broadcast is an excerpt in the first place, and even the longest "DENTAKU: FIRST LIVE IN JAPAN" did not have the last encore "It's More Fun To Compute". In contrast, this work allows you to fully enjoy the entire show while maintaining a beautiful and stable natural sound. I never thought that such a sound was possible in the audience recordings of the 1980s. It's hard to believe that so many recordings have been kept secret until now. Completely recorded with extremely beautiful sound. Not only is it a masterpiece of Kinney recording, but it is also the definitive edition of "COMPUTER WORLD TOUR" worldwide. Yes, this is what "sound is beautiful" means. A work of art that only electronic music can create. The pinnacle of ultra-beautiful recording that the entire world will discover for the first time.
