The release of the super-excellent video with the original four members has been decided. This work contains the "Charleston performance on December 8, 1998". It is a scene from the "PSYCHO CIRCUS WORLD TOUR 1998-2000", which was the only reorganized album of the original four. The biggest point of this work is the quality that takes your breath away, but first of all, the position. Let's check the overall picture of the world tour that lasted for three years. [1998] October 31st - December 31st: North America (33 performances) ← ★ Here ★ [1999] January 2nd: Nashville performance February 26th - March 28th: Europe (22 performances) April 10th - 24th: Latin America (5 performances) December 31st: Vancouver performance [2000] January 3rd: Anchorage performance A total of 63 performances. The Charleston performance of this work is the 20th concert of the "North American" leg that decorated the opening. Well, as mentioned above, the taste of this work is the strange quality. It is a distant shot taken from the second floor seats slightly to the right of the front of the stage (towards Paul Stanley), and the first thing that surprises me is the image quality. It should have been an analog video shoot due to the era, but ... it doesn't seem so. Anyway, it is vivid, detailed and clear. If you pull it back as much as you can, you can see that it is quite far from the stage, but even with a bold zoom, it is glittering and shiny without any blur (or rather, it is more beautiful when you zoom in). I often write that "it is vivid even to the eyes of today's digital heyday," but if this was shot in recent years, I would say "As expected, the latest equipment is amazing!". But is this really a video from 20 years ago? The angle drawn with such time-and-space-transcending image quality is also wonderful. Above all, the view is spectacular. The second floor seats are very angled, so there is no shadow from the front row, and only the stage occupies the screen. Furthermore, the fierce and bold zoom enlarges each member until they fill the screen, and even if you follow their movements from side to side, there is no camera shake. The angle of the second floor seats, the field of view with zero obstructions, and the super beautiful image quality combine to create a dynamic image that looks like it was taken by flying a drone into the venue. I've been making a fuss about zooming in, but the distant view is also wonderful. If you pull back as much as you can, the gorgeous stage fits perfectly within the screen, and you can perfectly capture the members no matter where they go. Furthermore, the huge stage screen shows their hands and expressions, and the flashy gimmicks are perfect... In fact, it's a one-camera audience, but the viewing experience is comparable to that of a multi-camera. Furthermore, the sound is also wonderful. The performance and singing reach straight and clear, befitting the scene with zero obstructions, but that's not all. The enthusiasm that rises throughout the venue is also amazing. There was almost no talking or shouting nearby, just the swell of a huge crowd approaching from afar. The huge spectacle was like a storm on the ocean. And the extremely thick sound of the performance cut through the swell and suppressed it. Every time a hit song was called out, every time a promised gimmick was decided, the clear musical sound was accompanied by a mountain-like commotion. And the whole picture of "PSYCHO CIRCUS WORLD TOUR" can be experienced with such quality. The rush of the great representative songs of the 70s lined up in a row is gorgeous. In fact, it is "always gorgeous", but the new songs such as "Into The Void" and "Within" sprinkled on it are unique to that time. Moreover, the four genuine original members are performing the greatest hits, and their figures are projected in super beautiful image quality. The video is several times more gorgeous. It is a video work filled with members and enthusiasm that could only be possible at that time, while the quality is unimaginable at that time. How desired they were. This masterpiece allows you to experience the scene 100% live in ultra-high quality. It is a timeless video work of the timeless KISS. Live at Charleston Civic Center, Charleston, WV.
