“KISS 2020 GOODBYE” is a shocking virtual concert that kicks the ass of the earth, which has been devastated by the new coronavirus pandemic. The regular release version of the show of the century “2000 GOODBYE: LIVE FROM ATLANTIS, DUBAI” will also appear, but this one is a different master that is similar but different. First of all, let's talk about "KISS 2020 GOODBYE", which is different from the regular release version. This live was held on New Year’s Eve, the final blow to a shitty year, “December 31, 2020, United Arab Emirates.” It was an outdoor stage set up at the luxury hotel "Atlantis The Palm" in Dubai. The original plan was to hold the final tour “END OF THE ROAD WORLD TOUR” in 2020, but it was canceled in March. Anger and frustration over this tour suspension is the basis of this work, so let's look back at 2020, including how many shows were lost and the canceled dates.・February 1st - March 10th: North America #1a (21 performances) × March 12th - 15th: North America #1b (3 performances) × × April 24th - May 21st: Central and South America #1 ( 13 performances) × × June 12th - July 25th: Europe/South Africa (22 performances) × × August 28th - October 7th: North America #2 (24 performances) × × November 10th - December 8th: Latin America #2 (4 performances) × December 31st: Dubai performance ←★This work★ This is KISS in 2020. "North America #1" at the beginning also suddenly stopped just as it was reaching its climax. After that, North America, Europe, South Africa, and 2 degrees of Central and South America all disappeared. Since then, the only stage that has been realized to date is “KISS 2020 GOODBYE” in this work. Under such circumstances, “KISS 2020 GOODBYE” was realized as a so-called streaming concert without an audience. In 2020, various bands/artists performed performances in a similar format, but this was KISS. They created a super spectacular stage that could not be rivaled by such concerts without an audience. After all, it looks super gorgeous from the scene. Taking advantage of the lack of audience seats, the stage is approximately 76 meters long, with a super-huge screen on the back and a gigantic "Atlantis the Palm" lit up in place of the audience seats towering in front of it. . An incredible number of laser beams, LEDs, and the latest projection mapping dance in a space that makes the entire hotel grounds seem like a stage. And, to control the frenzy of light is a pyro worth a million dollars. This is literally the ``world's best'' and was officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as ``Tallest flame blown up at a music concert'' and ``Number of flames blown up simultaneously at a music concert.'' The world's No. 1 and music history's No. 1 scene will be filmed with more than 50 cameras and broadcast live. Both “2000 GOODBYE: LIVE FROM ATLANTIS, DUBAI” and this work are DVD versions of such distribution masters. Both are basically the same edits, but the source masters are different. Although they have just been introduced and precise comparisons have not yet been made, let's summarize the differences that are known so far. Difference in color development The biggest difference between the two masters is probably the color development of the images. Both are at an extremely high level that is not the bootleg standard, but the regular release version is more vivid than this work. Of course, the difference is only noticeable when displayed side by side on the same monitor, but the standard release version of ``2000 GOODBYE: LIVE FROM ATLANTIS, DUBAI'' still has the most beautiful visual beauty that can be expected at this time. Difference in smoothness So, why was this work also released? In fact, this work has its strength, and that is "movement." As I mentioned in the commentary for ``2000 GOODBYE: LIVE FROM ATLANTIS, DUBAI,'' although this stream was of superlative quality, I couldn't help but feel that there were slight frame drops in terms of movement. This is the same for both the regular release version and this work, but this work feels (slightly) smoother. Differences in audio mix, and the decisive factor is the audio. It's basically the same thing, but the balance is different in some parts, and Paul's voice is missing. The easiest song to understand is the opening song, “Detroit Rock City.” It sounds like the difference was probably caused by the process of erasing the mechanical noise on stage that was picked up by the microphone, but the details of the cause and whether there are other types are unknown at this time. This is the biggest mood-filled announcement video. In this work, an advertising video announcing the distribution is inserted before the main show. This is just like a Hollywood theatrical movie, and the mood of counting down and then opening all at once is incredibly cool. This is just a side note to explain the difference, but to put it bluntly, whether it's the regular release version or this work, it's a so-called "completely official pro shot." And, the show drawn with such transcendent visual beauty is the ultimate greatest hits that follows “END OF THE ROAD WORLD TOUR”. Of course, only official works can be compared, so let's organize the set while comparing it with "KISS ROCKS VEGAS". 70's Classics (15 songs)・KISS: Deuce/100,000 Years(★)/Cold Gin(★)/Black Diamond/Strutter(★)・DESTROYER: Detroit Rock City/Shout It Out Loud/God of Thunder/Beth(★ ) / Do You Love Me ・Others: Parasite (HOTTER THAN HELL) / Rock And Roll All Nite (DRESSED TO KILL) / Calling Dr. Love (★: ROCK AND ROLL OVER) / Love Gun (LOVE GUN) / I Was Made for Lovin' You (★: DYNASTY) 80's and later (7 songs) ・CREATURES OF THE NIGHT: I Love It Loud/War Machine ・Other 80's: Lick It Up (LICK IT UP)/Heaven's on Fire (★: ANIMALIZE ) / Tears Are Falling (ASYLUM) / Remake era: Psycho Circus (PSYCHO CIRCUS) / Say Yeah! (★: SONIC BOOM) *Note: Songs marked with "★" are not seen in the official video "KISS ROCKS VEGAS". Humanity, which has fought with patience against diseases, has developed vaccines and started fighting back, while the new coronavirus has also begun to fight back with mutants. The war situation does not allow any prediction, and only God knows whether the tour will actually resume in June of this year. However, it was because of such global anger and frustration that this show was made possible. The world's most spectacular rock'n'roll show, recognized by Guinness. Enjoy the full experience with this work, which is a different master from "2000 GOODBYE: LIVE FROM ATLANTIS, DUBAI"!
