KISS in 1985, who built the foundation of the no-makeup era with Bruce Kulick. The best master that will further enrich the soundboard collection has been decided to be permanently preserved! This work is engraved with the "Houston performance on January 31, 1985". It is a stereo soundboard recording. Speaking of 1985, it is the time when "ANIMALIZE Tour" and "ASYLUM Tour" switched. Even a slight difference in time has a very different meaning, so let's first take a bird's-eye view of the activities at that time and approach the position of this work. 1984・January 1st - March 17th: North America #1 (53 shows) ← *DENVER 1984 and more {Vinnie Vincent left in March → Mark St. John joined in April} {ANIMALIZE released on September 13th} {Mark's ill health → Bruce Kulick joined} ・September 30th - November 5th: Europe (29 shows) ← *ANIMALIZE AT THE APOLLO ・November 15th - 30th: North America #2a (27 shows) ← *Official footage 1985・January 3rd - March 29th: North America #2b (61 shows) ← *Here★ {ASYLUM released on September 16th} ・November 29th - December 31st: North America #3 (23 shows) ← *CHARLOTTE 1985 This is KISS in 1984 and 1985. The Houston performance of this work was the final act of "North America # 2b", the final stage of the "ANIMALIZE Tour". This is the largest soundboard production period of the tour, and the recently released "SAN BERNARDINO 1985 SOUNDBOARD" is still fresh in my memory. Let's focus on the dates and organize our collection. Details of "North America # 2b" ・January 3-30 (23 performances) *January 31: Houston performance ←★This work★ ・February 1-18 (12 performances) *February 20 "SAN BERNARDINO 1985 SOUNDBOARD" ・February 21-March 2 (7 performances) *March 3 "CALGARY 1985 SOUNDBOARD" ・March 7-28 (17 performances) *March 29 "NEW JERSEY 1985 SOUNDBOARD" This work, which conveys such a show, is a real soundboard that also has a sense of experience. We have introduced various sound boards through our own related route, but most of them are direct-connected systems. The loud cheers were only whispers, and most of the performance sounds and vocals were exposed. Although the rawness of this work is unprocessed and unedited, the mix is well-balanced and the beauty of the entire ensemble is felt, and you can also feel the sound that creates a sense of unity in each instrument and the breath of loud cheers. The details are unknown, but the sound board sound may also be mixed with the audience sound recorded with an ambient microphone. In addition, some parts are actually used for audience recording. Probably to compensate for the sound board recording omission, the second half of the drum solo, the ending of "Lick It Up", and the last "Rock and Roll All Nite" are audience recordings (of course, the fact that you can see the switching is also proof that most of the parts are not the best audience but the sound board). This compensation was not done by our shop, but was applied to the excavation master itself. Anyway, although this work is mainly about the thick and direct feeling of a sound board, I would like to call it a "live album" that emphasizes the total charm rather than a "sound board album" that tends to imagine a direct connection to the table. It is a masterpiece that also feels the heat of the scene. Such a real sound board depicts the full show of the "ANIMALIZE Tour" that gets excited by Bruce Kulick. The set itself is familiar, but let's organize it at the end. 70's Classics (5 songs) 1st album: Cold Gin/Black Diamond Others: Rock And Roll All Nite/Detroit Rock City/Love Gun 80's (9 songs + α) CREATURES OF THE NIGHT: Creatures of the Night/War Machine/I Love It Loud/I Still Love You LICK IT UP: Fits Like A Glove/Young and Wasted/Lick It Up Others: Heaven's On Fire/Under the Gun/Oh! Susannah (★) *Note: ★ marks are songs that could not be heard in the official video "ANIMALIZE LIVE UNCENSORED". The "ANIMALIZE Tour" is one of the leading soundboard production areas even in the no-makeup era. This is one of the most unique and realistic recordings in the collection. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the "Houston performance on January 31, 1985". This masterpiece combines the thick and direct sound of a soundboard with the experience of a real show, and has been made into a CD by the best master through our own related route. This is a new masterpiece that allows you to enjoy the full show of the "ANIMALIZE Tour" with Bruce Kulick.
