KISS in 2000 took the world by storm with their last original four member “THE FAREWELL TOUR”. Introducing Japan's unique version of the representative professional shot that symbolized that time. The symbolic video was shot at the East Rutherford performance on June 27, 2000. This is the multi-camera pro shot. Speaking of “THE FAREWELL TOUR 2000-2001,” Peter Criss left midway through and the original lineup collapsed. Instead (?), it was also a turning point that led to him canceling his retirement. First of all, let’s look back at the schedule at that time and check the show’s position. 2000 January 3: Anchorage performance March 11-May 26: North America #1 (53 performances) June 6-August 2: North America #2 (35 performances) ←★Here★・August 11th - October 7th: North America #3 (39 performances) 2001《January: Peter leaves → Eric returns》 ・March 9th - 22nd: Japan (7 performances) ・March 29th - April 13th: Australia (8 performances) This is KISS in 2000/2001. “THE FAREWELL TOUR” had been touring only North America, but it was interrupted with Peter’s departure. In 2001, when Eric Singer joined and restarted the band, it was only Japan and Australia. Under such circumstances, the East Rutherford performance of this work was in the middle of the US tour. This was the 13th concert of "North America #2". Such a show is also known for its TV broadcast pro shots, and it is such a classic that it has not only produced many previous episodes, but also became official in the box “KISSOLOGY VOLUME THREE”. This work is not a copy of such an official product, nor is it a remastered reissue of an already released product. A Japanese broadcast version that was aired on a certain broadcasting corporation's special program "World Super Live" in 2000. This is a unique version that differs in composition and song selection from the official version. As a matter of fact, the 2000 East Rutherford footage for "KISSOLOGY VOLUME THREE" is incomplete, perhaps due to consideration of balance with other videos. There were only 14 songs. Although this work is not a complete version of the full show, it is overwhelmingly long with "17 songs + each solo time", and there are plenty of songs that cannot be seen in the official version. Let's quickly organize the sets while comparing them. 70's Classics (14 songs)・KISS: Deuce/Firehouse/Cold Gin (★)/100,000 Years/Black Diamond・HOTTER THAN HELL: Let Me Go, Rock 'N' Roll・DRESSED TO KILL: Rock And Roll All Nite・DESTROYER: Detroit Rock City / Shout It Out Loud / Do You Love Me? (★) / God of Thunder・ROCK AND ROLL OVER: Calling Dr. Love (★)・LOVE GUN: Love Gun・DYNASTY: 2,000 Man (★) After the 80's (3 songs)・LICK IT UP: Lick It Up (★)・ANIMALIZE: Heaven's On Fire・PSYCHO CIRCUS: Psycho Circus *Note: "★" mark is official box "KISSOLOGY VOLUME THREE: 1992-2000" version A song I couldn't watch. ...and it looks like this. Although "Shock Me", "Beth", and "I Still Love You (the beginning of Black Diamond)" that were included in the official box are not included, this work is more than 10 minutes longer in total (by the way, the official box and the book are not included). The only song that you won't be able to watch is "I Love It Loud"). And what's more delicious than the length is the quality. At our store, we have archived many music programs with the best masters of core recording enthusiasts, and this work is one of them. Moreover, the person who provided this work was the person who received great acclaim for Michael Jackson's "JAPAN TOUR '87" and Prince's "TOKYO DOME 1990". In fact, a similar video has been uploaded to a certain major video site, but there is no comparison. The ultra-clear and vivid visual quality expresses the resolution of the broadcast project to the limit, and the audio is also a perfect stereo sound board. It's completely official quality, comparable to the official boxed version. Although it is of official quality, it is even longer, and includes 5 songs and solo time that cannot be seen officially. Furthermore, this is a special Japanese version with MC's own subtitles. Originally, the official side should have kept the final version of the “original KISS” in its final form. Multi-camera professional shot of "June 27, 2000 East Rutherford Performance". It is a standard video that was made official in "KISSOLOGY VOLUME THREE", but it includes "2,000 Man", "Do You Love Me?", "Calling Dr. Love", "Lick It Up", "Cold Gin" and various other songs that were not seen on the official version. This is the Japanese broadcast version where you can enjoy solo time. Moreover, the original master by a recording enthusiast has an unusually high image quality, and the visual beauty is comparable to the official version, and Paul's MC is a delicious piece with its own Japanese subtitles.
