This work was shot at the Asbury Park concert on April 14, 1990. This is a spectacular audience shot...probably. I'm sorry for suddenly becoming unreliable, but no matter how you look at it, it doesn't seem like it was taken by the audience. The key points are the field of view and the camera work. First of all, the field of view. It is shot with a single camera from the back of the venue, but the viewpoint is strangely high. It looks directly at the stage, passing far above the heads of the audience who are packed in front of the stage. The line of sight is at the same height as the members, and you can't help but make eye contact with them. And the camera work that makes full use of that viewpoint is also intense. The scene is a chaotic club, but the camera work is strangely calm. The sense of stability without any camera shake is clearly not freehand, and it seems that it is only a camera set up at the venue, whether it is using a tripod. Moreover, the scroll that follows the highlights moves slowly and steadily. When the audience takes the picture, they try to follow the highlights in a hurry, and their aim gets lost here and there. However, this work does not have such a sense of violence, but rather follows the highlights without missing them. Especially when Paul and Gene are shot separately, it seems as if they know in advance who will sing the next song. In fact, the master freshness is not so good and there is a feeling of fading, but the shooting itself is completely away from the audience. Such a beautiful image depicts a rare scene where rare songs and mistakes are interesting. In fact, it is an incomplete video of only the first 8 songs, but there are delicious scenes concentrated there. Let's reorganize only the part that can be seen in this work here. HOT IN THE SHADE (2 songs) Rise To It / Betrayed Others (6 songs) 70's: I Stole Your Love / Deuce / C'mon And Love Me / Calling Dr. Love 80's: Heaven's On Fire / Fits Like A Glove ... and so on. The limited songs for the "HOT IN THE SHADE Tour" are "Rise To It" and "Betrayed", the surprises since the 70's "I Stole Your Love" and "C'mon And Love Me", and "Fits Like A Glove", which was a mistake and had to be redone. You can enjoy all the numbers that have been talked about in this show. "KISS in a club"... This is a shocking video that allows you to witness such a rare and luxurious scene. The quality is so far removed from the audience that it seems that it was only filmed by someone involved, and it is a piece that continues to overflow with highlights.
