This is the final blow to the soundboard series that reveals the truth behind the masterpiece "ALIVE!"! A definitive edition featuring two performances on one day has been urgently available! This work permanently preserves two stereo soundboard recordings. It is a two-disc set with the first show of "July 20, 1975: Davenport" on Disc 1 and the second show on Disc 2. As those who have read this article may know, the original soundboards for "ALIVE!" have been unearthed one after another recently. We have imported them from the source and have been offering them as a series. To confirm this lineup, let's first look back at the soundboard circumstances of the "DRESSED TO KILL Tour." "HOTTER THAN HELL Tour" January 7th - February 22nd (14 shows) ← *SAN FRANCISCO JANUARY 1975 "DRESSED TO KILL Tour" March 19th - May 11th (28 shows) *May 16th "DEFINITIVE DETROIT 1975" (ALIVE! recording date) May 17th - June 7th (12 shows) *June 13th "TULSA 1975 SOUNDBOARD" June 14th - 20th (4 shows) *June 21st "CLEVELAND 1975" (ALIVE! recording date) June 22nd - July 5th (6 shows) *July 20th: 2 shows at Davenport (ALIVE! recording date) ← ★Here★ *July 23rd "DEFINITIVE WILDWOOD 1975" (ALIVE! recording date) August 2nd-28th (10 performances) "ALIVE! Tour" September 10th-December 31st (50 performances) ← *LANDOVER 1975 ALIVE! Also used is the complete version of the original soundboard x 2 This is KISS from 1975. We have previously introduced the original soundboard albums for "ALIVE!", "DEFINITIVE DETROIT 1975", "CLEVELAND 1975", and "DEFINITIVE WILDWOOD 1975", but this is the final installment of this work. "CLEVELAND 1975" also had a Davenport recording, but it does not overlap with this work at all. Let's organize the situation around there. Davenport show soundboard and sound check from the day: CLEVELAND 1975 THE LOST KISS ALIVE! (4 songs + jam) * 1st show: DISC 1 of this album (all songs: possibly some used on ALIVE?) * 2nd show: DISC 2 of this album (all songs: one song used on ALIVE) ... and so on. While "Let Me Go, Rock 'N Roll" from the 2nd show is featured on "ALIVE!", the 1st show's track is a mystery. One theory is that a portion of "Cold Gin" was used in conjunction with the Wildwood show, but the specific parts are unknown. Eddie Kramer, who worked on the recordings, lost his records, so it's unclear. In any case, this album features a complete set of soundboards from both shows. This completes the four days (5 shows) that form the basis of "ALIVE!". Enjoy the "DRESSED TO KILL Tour" with a completely official sound. Of course, the two performances in this work were officially released in the 50th anniversary boxes of "DRESSED TO KILL" and "ALIVE!", but according to the importer's materials, they were leaked from the production process. In fact, the sound can only be described as "completely official." We were unable to determine the specific differences from the official final version, but in short, there are no flaws. The recording quality, mix, and master freshness... there is nothing to criticize at every point. Depicted with such perfect quality is the true "ALIVE!" scene, and the two performances of the "DRESSED TO KILL Tour" approaching with full ambition. The sets for the two performances are slightly different, so let's organize them at the end. KISS (7 songs), Deuce, Strutter, Firehouse, Nothin' To Lose, 100,000 Years, Black Diamond, Cold Gin, and others (3 + 3), HOTTER THAN HELL: Got to Choose, Hotter Than Hell, Let Me Go, Rock And Roll (★: 2nd stage only), DRESSED TO KILL: She, C'mon And Love Me, Rock And Roll All Nite (1st stage only). *Note: ★ indicates takes featured on the official "ALIVE!" album. This includes the longest and most unique set, "DEFINITIVE DETROIT 1975," most of which was featured on "ALIVE!", the compilation "DEFINITIVE WILDWOOD 1975," which compiles detailed takes, and this set, which features two performances at the same venue. This completes the original soundboard series of historic masterpieces. This is a must-have for any KISS collection: a superb stereo soundboard recording of the July 20, 1975 Davenport (1st/2nd show). This show, which also featured "Let Me Go, Rock 'N Roll" on "ALIVE!", features two performances recorded in full on one day. This was leaked during the production process of the official album, and the sound is "fully official quality." This is the final installment of the "ALIVE! Original SBD Series," following "DEFINITIVE DETROIT 1975," "DEFINITIVE WILDWOOD 1975," and "CLEVELAND 1975 THE LOST KISS ALIVE!" R.K.O.
