The masterpiece "HOTTER THAN HELL" was released 8 months after their debut. A remix album celebrating its 50th anniversary has been decided. A dynamic version of HOTTER THAN HELL created by music professionals This work is a remix album created by an overseas maniac. The original "HOTTER THAN HELL" was disassembled with AI technology and reassembled to create the original KISS live sound. You may think it's a fan-made album, but the maniac who produced it is no ordinary person. The other day, we introduced the expanded complete version of the concept work "Elder: Demon World Battle", "A WORLD WITHOUT HEROES Expanded ELDER Redux", and this work was created by the same person. Not only is he well versed in the latest technology, but he is also a real professional who has been working on musicals for many years. Although he does not have an official license with KISS, his sense, skill, and know-how make it a completely professional-level work that is different from any other "I tried making it". In fact, the sound is a reborn album at a glance. KISS's first three albums tend to be said to have a sparse sound, but this one is wide, dynamic, and powerful. However, the key point is that it is by no means "modern." The maniacs who produced this work love the worldview of KISS in the 1970s, and have no intention of remaking the traditional masterpiece like a modern band. Instead, it was to inject the dynamism that KISS was playing on stage at the time but could not reproduce in studio works. A new masterpiece created by meticulous work In fact, the intention can be felt from the production method. This work uses AI technology to break down the original "HOTTER THAN HELL" into multi-tracks (vocals / 2 guitars / bass / drums) and remix them, but it does not simply change the balance. Treatments are added to each instrument, and in some cases takes are replaced. The drums are particularly amazing. The bass drum and toms are from the original "HOTTER THAN HELL" take (after adjustments), but the rest have been remade. For example, the hi-hat and ride are taken from the "ALIVE!" take and synchronized piece by piece. Songs not on "ALIVE!" and other drums are reconstructed by sampling Peter's percussion sounds from various works. Each song has been completely remade, while sticking to the real percussion sounds that Peter has become accustomed to. The other instruments are not as elaborate as the drums, but they are still finely tuned. The bass is particularly effective. It's just a little distortion, but it greatly enhances the heaviness. As mentioned above, this work was produced by a sound professional. The biggest reason why the studio recordings of the first three albums did not match the live performances was analyzed, and the appropriate effect is created with minimal processing. The guitar and vocals have only been re-equalized, but this one is also processed individually depending on the song. For example, "Comin' Home" has an acoustic guitar (Paul's own) layered from another source, and "Goin' Blind" also has reverb and delay applied to the vocals. The end of "Parasite" has the same chorus as "ALIVE!", and "Got To Choose" has a hard ending added. Bonus recording of unique remixes The reborn "HOTTER THAN HELL" is full of emotion just with all the songs, but this work also includes three remixes with different concepts. Let's introduce each one individually. Long version "Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll" A long version based on the original version, expanded by utilizing demo versions and takes from "ALIVE!" It's not just long, but also reproduces the live arrangement of the time, and includes solos and bass breaks. Acoustic version "Goin' Blind" A remix featuring acoustic guitar while using the original drums and bass. However, the solo is electric, so it's not completely unplugged. It seems that Gene's unplugged vocals are doubled with symphony vocals, and a symphony version of the orchestra is also added. "Parasite" is sung mainly by Ace, and is a form of "What if Ace had sung from the beginning?" Ace's vocals are taken from "ORIGINS VOL.1", and Gene's original vocals are blended into them. The above is a "new HOTTER THAN HELL" with a total of 13 takes. It is not just a modern way of earning power, but a version of "what if KISS had brought live sound to the studio at the time" that was built up from deep insight. A new charm of a great album that could only be created with the latest technology for the 50th anniversary. A special 50th anniversary version of the 2nd album has been released. This remix album was produced by a professional KISS fanatic who uses AI technology to recreate "HOTTER THAN HELL" with the live sound of the time.
