This is the definitive performance from the period immediately after the formation of the Keith Jarrett Standards Trio, when they were actively performing live, with the previously out-of-tune pitch corrected for the first time, and a bonus track with a different version that is making its first appearance has been added! ! This is the definitive version that completely records one of the best performances that represent the early days of the Standards Trio in terms of both sound quality and content! ! This work is the definitive version of the North Sea Jazz Festival performance in The Hague, Netherlands on July 12, 1985, when the Standards Trio was just formed, when Keith, Gary and Jack were all in their prime, with the out-of-tune pitch corrected and the encore recorded completely on a superb high-quality stereo sound board! ! This is a must-have performance that Keith and Standards fans, as well as piano trio fans, cannot miss! ! In addition, this album includes a completely new 30-minute version of the opening track, "I Didn't Know What Time It Was - My Ship"! The concert starts with the aforementioned "I Didn't Know What Time It Was - My Ship". A little after the four-minute mark, the timing is off, which is unusual for three virtuoso musicians, and the performance is interrupted for a moment, but Jack quickly gets the timing right and resumes the performance, a happening that only happens at a live performance. However, perhaps because of this opening incident, the performance thereafter was particularly spirited and wonderful, even for this time of year. This is a blessing in disguise! The bonus track includes an uninterrupted edited version of the song, which is a very interesting version with a very different tone. In addition, the famous pieces in the daily set, which do not overlap with the Paris performance of the same period, known as the official album and the Japanese title "Starlight Stella", are so beautiful that they surpass the Paris performance! Please enjoy the best performance of one of the best piano trios that has reached the highest heights in history! The method of adding new interpretations to famous jazz standards and cooking them as if they were original works of this trio is nothing other than a new trio jazz. In fact, they also play original works of the trio, but the boundaries are so blurred. Here is a performance that can only be achieved when all elements are perfect, such as sensitivity, sense, and mutual trust that cannot be expressed by technique alone!
