A miraculous discovery! The sound of each instrument of Keith, Gary and Jack is well-balanced, and the legendary concert, which is said to be a masterpiece, is now available for the first time, recorded completely for over two hours, including the encore, in the finest high-quality stereo! Who would have thought that such a recording still exists!?! The best performance of the year by the Standard Trio of Keith, Gary and Jack, which only had 14 performances a year, including the Japan performance, was held at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, France on July 7, 2007. This 2-disc set has been received, recorded completely for over two and a half hours, including the encore, in the finest high-quality stereo sound that has been carefully mastered by the label! The set list included 11 songs in total: "You Got to My Heart," "I Thought About You," "Round About Midnight," "Straight No Chaser," "Little Man You've Had a Big Day," "Is It Really the Same," "Come Rain or Come Shine," "Autumn Leaves," "I'm Going to Laugh You Right Out of My Life," "God Bless the Child," and "When I Fall in Love." The way they interpret famous jazz standards and cook them up as if they were original works by the trio is nothing short of a new trio jazz. They actually play original works by the trio, but it's hard to tell the difference between them. Here is a performance that can only be achieved when all the elements are perfect, including sensibility, taste, and mutual trust that cannot be expressed by technique alone!
