The first set of a live performance held at NDR Studios in Hamburg, Germany on June 14, 1972 was recorded on a stereo soundboard with the latest 24-bit digital remastering of the broadcast sound source. The official release in November was the second set of the same day, with a completely different set list, and when combined with this product, it becomes the complete version. At the time, ECM, a new label, planned the first European tour by the trio with Charlie Haden and Paul Motian, and you can enjoy the live performance in Hamburg that was part of that tour.
