24-bit remaster processing of the stereo sound source, the longest recording time ever, of the American Quartet's 1974 tour, which appeared at Boston's famous live house "Jazz Workshop" on September 18th. The Keith mania agony class title recorded for the first time with the ultimate noiseless sound source has appeared. In 1974, the 7 American Quartet's world tour began on January 4th at the Tokyo Kosei Pension Hall. The sound source released this time was broadcast on the local Boston radio station WBCN from the live performance at Jazz Workshop in Boston, which was held six times from September 17th to September 22nd. This will be the sound source. In the old title "Another Jazz Workshop 1974" released 15 years ago, the cassette tape on which the live performance was recorded had deteriorated severely over time, and the harsh noise in Keith's piano solo was more noticeable as a sound source. Ta. However, at that time (15 years ago), it was the first sound source to appear, and it was known as a must-have title for enthusiastic enthusiasts due to its high-tension performance. Now, the newly discovered sound source is the first song, The Rich (And The Poor), which is recorded from the intro played by Keith's piano, which was cut in the old title. Although the broadcast announcement is covered, the important part has been revealed for the first time. Even more surprising is the quality of the sound. It is amazing how the clear outlines of sounds such as Keith's piano, Redman's tenor, and Hayden's bass, with whom he has been in contact since the 1960s, are reproduced. This realistic sound image even though it is not a rebroadcast. I'm so impressed by the freshness that I can't believe it's the same live performance as the old title, which became monaural due to repeated tape dubbing. What's more, 24-bit digital remastering has achieved the ultimate noise reduction, adding to the beauty of this wonderful live performance. The final version of the famous sound source has finally appeared, ending with a member introduction by Keith himself, which was not included in the old title!
