While working in Miles Davis' band, Keith Jarrett met Manfred Eicher, the owner of the German jazz label ECM, and signed a contract with him as a solo artist. In 1971, he released his first solo album, "Facing You," as his first release. Then, while performing piano solo concerts in Europe under the arrangement of Manfred Eicher, he performed at the Molde Jazz Festival in Norway on August 2, 1972, and you can enjoy this treasure title for enthusiasts, recorded with a high-quality sound source different from the previously released titles. Keith Jarrett's solo performance that can be heard here is a delicate, lyrical, heart-touching sound that is unique to him and will be inherited in the solo piano masterpiece "Solo Concert" released two years later. It's a performance that makes you feel that Keith Jarrett is about to take flight as a jazz solo pianist!
