In 2018, a world tour was announced to coincide with the release of "Firepower," the first album in four years. However, it was also announced that Glenn Tipton had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for 10 years and would be withdrawing from touring activities, causing surprise and disappointment from fans around the world. The "Firepower 2018" tour began in this environment, and the first two shows of the North American leg were both compiled with full-length master quality audience footage and released on Blu-ray. First, taking advantage of the large capacity of Blu-ray, the original HD quality footage was recorded with a stable shot from the second floor seats in front of the stage, which can be said to be the best position for both shows, with a view of the entire stage. Moreover, the audio parts were recorded in perfect PCM stereo, making it a quality that is on a different level from the same footage already available on YouTube. The first half was recorded in Washington DC on March 18th, and was a complete 97-minute recording of the almost standard set of this tour. The second half was the fifth performance, a live show in Newark, New Jersey on the 20th, which was also of good quality and completed over 98 minutes. And the live show started with Andy Sneap, who is also the album producer, as a substitute guitarist in place of Glenn, and the set list was four songs from the album and some of the best songs from the past. And the surprise in the second half of Newark was that before the tour, Glenn had said, "On a good day, I'll join the band on stage and play a few songs," and finally appeared on stage for the encore that day, playing three songs, "Metal Gods," "Breaking The Law," and "Living After Midnight," to the delight of the fans. Even in the regular set, there was a shift change, with "Angel" on the 18th being replaced by "The Green Manalishi" on the 20th, so this collector's edition is a must-see for fans, including information on Glenn's future participation. 1.
