We have prepared a superb compilation that allows you to collect all the official rare tracks from the "TURBO" & "RAM IT DOWN" era. This work includes 9 hidden treasures. It can be divided into three main sections, so let's introduce each one separately. [Long Remix Tracks (2 songs)] First up are the “High Octane Mix” of “Turbo Lover” and the “Extended Remix” of “Blood Red Skies”. Both are extended versions that are significantly longer than the album takes. "Turbo Lover (Hi-Octane Mix)" was made into a CD with "PRIEST, LIVE AND RARE", but it has been out of print for a long time. "The Hellion Kid" who worked on the remix is DJ Freddie Bastone, who is known for his remixes of Queen, RADIOHEAD, Rod Stewart, etc. You can enjoy the 7 minute and 21 second version that symbolizes the time when the song tried to break into the times through a pop route. And the other one, “Blood Red Skies (Extended Remix)” is rare. The album take was also a masterpiece of 7 minutes and 51 seconds, but this is an even longer masterpiece version of 10 minutes and 33 seconds. Moreover, it is exquisitely made. It's not a remix cut into pieces, but a more profound and long one, while paying close attention to the worldview of the song. This is a must-listen track with a deep highlight that deepens the climax layer by layer while layering vocals from various parts of the song. [Edited version (4 songs, 5 tracks)] The following section is an edited version that has been shortened for the single. "Turbo Lover" includes two versions: "Single Edit (4 minutes 40 seconds)" which is a shortened version of the album track, and "Hi-Octane Mix Short Version (3 minutes 59 seconds)" which is a shortened remix version. . Particularly rare is the "Hi-Octane Mix Short Version," which is only included on the US version of the single "Turbo Lover." It is a masterpiece take that is cleaner than the full-length version and allows you to enjoy only the delicious taste of the remix. [Other rare tracks (2 songs)] Up to this point, the songs were included in the single/promo edition, but the last one is two more rare tracks. First of all, "You Are Everything" is a demo from a session that took place before "RAM IT DOWN". Rob said, "I want to release it someday," but Glenn refused, saying, "I'll never release it." What you are doing. The touching part was edited to about 1 minute and published. The song is a cover of THE STYLISTICS, which was recorded with Eurobeat's producer team, Stock Aitken Waterman, and has become a hot topic, with people asking, ``Steel God singing Philadelphia soul!?'' It's a rare collaboration that makes sense for Glenn to reject it, but it's also interesting enough to understand why Rob, who has even experienced 2WO, would want to do it without hesitation. In addition to this cover, original songs "Runaround" and "I Will Return" were also recorded, but these remain completely unreleased. By the way, Pete Waterman said, ``It was the best song we've ever done, though people are surprised that we made metal.'' And, the last thing recorded is the soundboard live of “Beyond The Realms Of Death”. This is from the "August 7, 1988 New Haven performance." As I mentioned in the main commentary, there is also a version that connects this take, but the sound is different because the broadcast is different. “TURBO” & “RAM IT DOWN” were originally supposed to be one work. In the end, they became separate works, but they were fused with the spirit of challenging the times. The introduction of synth guitars and drum machines that explored new sounds, collaborations with other genres, remixes, etc.... It was a unique period unlike any other. The main press CD is a semi-official work that fills in the final piece following "TURBO", "PRIEST...LIVE!", and "RAM IT DOWN", and this work is a collection of rare tracks that fully enjoy the unique sound.
