Heavy metal masterpieces "PAINKILLER" and "RUST IN PEACE" were released in September 1990. Introducing a multi-camera pro shot that luxuriously couples two bands that created a historical masterpiece! This work is a 2-disc set with pro shots of MEGADETH on disc 1 and JUDAS PRIEST on disc 2. No matter how delicious the season is, it doesn't mean we're just pairing things together. Both bands are in the “Detroit performance on December 5, 1990”. Actually, at that time, JUDAS PRIEST was the headliner, and TESTAMENT and MEGADETH were accompanying them as the opening act. This work is the same performance at the same venue (I actually wanted to couple TESTAMENT on the same day, but unfortunately it was postponed because it was an audience shot). The venue, “The Palace of Auburn Hills,” is a venue that can be called a treasure trove of professional shots from the early 90s, and a large amount of treasured footage of various bands has been shot there. Even in the metal world alone, KISS, MOTOLEY CRUE, WINGER, RUSH, and METALLICA have been leaked. This work is also a professional shot that appeared throughout that process. First of all, the opening act MEGADETH will appear. Speaking of the professional shot of “RUST IN PEACE TOUR 1990-1991”, the TV broadcast of “ROCK IN RIO 2” is famous, but the quality of this work far exceeds that classic. Although the liveliness and roughness are different from the broadcast, the vivid visual beauty and sound directly connected to the table are amazing. What is depicted with that quality is unmistakably the world of "RUST IN PEACE." The golden foursome of Dave Mustaine, Dave Ellefson, Marty Friedman, and the late Nick Menza come together to create intense and complex intellectual thrash. There are many videos from the Golden Age that remain, but this one is special. After all, it's completely different from the grooves that were slowed down significantly after "COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION", and here it explodes with the freshness of the new lineup. Still, the greatly improved playing ability has a good sense of consistency, and it will not fail even when you go crazy. You can enjoy plenty of MEGADETH exclusive to this tour with professional shots, and “Wake Up Dead,” “Hook In Mouth,” and “In My Darkest Hour,” which cannot be seen in “ROCK IN RIO 2,” are also delicious. It is definitely the No. 1 video of the “RUST IN PEACE” era! And disc 2 is “Resurrected Gods”, JUDAS PRIEST. This is the same video as the standard title "PAINKILLER IN DETROIT". It looks like it has been dubbed once compared to MEGADETH, but this is also a classic professional shot of the extremely popular “PAINKILLER TOUR 1990-1991”. JUDAS PRIEST also has “ROCK IN RIO 2”, but “The Sentinel”, “Night Crawler”, “Riding On The Wind”, and “A Touch Of Evil”, which were not played there, are also a big hit. Due to the early stage of the tour, Rob Halford's metal shout is also clear, and the wonderful thing about "Night Crawler" and "A Touch Of Evil", which howl with the original key... “All Guns Blazing”, which explodes with a cappella voice in perfect condition, is also a must-see number exclusive to this tour. A professional shot set that shines with both the youthful Mustaine and Rob's costume, which is perhaps the heaviest of all time. A heavy metal paradise that unfolds on stage with the potential of the super masterpieces "PAINKILLER" and "RUST IN PEACE". I'm so jealous that I got to see such amazing live shows one after another... (There was also TESTAMENT on that day, so it was even more amazing than the legendary "CLASH OF THE TITANS"!). Heavy metal that was unique to the 1990s, miraculously combining the brilliance of the 80s and the aggression of the 90s. A masterpiece that lets you enjoy a night of two groups that embody that ideal standing side by side with multi-camera professional shots. Please enjoy it to the fullest!
