In 2018, Kotetsu Kami excited the archipelago with their scorching heavy metal, just like their heyday. This week, when their latest live album will be released all at once, we have prepared a collection of late promo clips that can be called a sequel to the official DVD "ELECTRIC EYE". “ELECTRIC EYE” was a collection of PVs from the golden period from 1980 to 1990, but the theme of this work is “after”. In addition to clips from his latest work ``FIREPOWER,'' we have all the PVs related to JUDAS PRIEST, including his co-stars with his junior SKID ROW, the Ripper Owens era, HALFORD, FIGHT, and 2WO. This is a definitive work that allows you to witness the progress from the division to the present day all at once. This work consists of three major parts. Let's introduce each of them. [JUDAS PRIEST clip (8 songs)] First up is the original JUDAS PRIEST. A compilation of everything from "Burn In Hell" right after he joined Ripper to the latest clip of "No Surrender" which burned during the performance in Japan. Other live clips of “EPITAPH” were also released, but they are excerpts from the official work, so I have omitted them. The collection concentrates 20 years of late PRIEST. However, the balance is clearly biased, with one song each from the four albums "JUGULATOR," "DEMOLITION," "ANGEL OF RETRIBUTION," and "NOSTRADAMUS," and four songs from "FIREPOWER." I can't say for certain because there are lyric videos like "Never The Heroes", but it shows how much emphasis is placed on images in modern times, and PRIEST is also responding to that. The traditional clips from the Ripper era, "Revolution," "Lightning Strike," and "Spectre" that directly convey the charm of the band are of course cool, as well as "The Four Horsemen/War" and "No Surrender" where you can peek into the profound story with CG animation. The sight of the robot flying on the album cover is also a highlight. [HALFORD Clips (6 songs)] Rob Halford's HALFORD, which pursued pure metal as much as the original, is also a treasure trove of great clips. Not only one or two songs from each album, but also the best album "Forgotten Generation" is completely covered. There are many highlights such as "Betrayal" which embodies the coolness of metal in the style of "Painkiller", "Get Into The Spirit" with a very realistic studio scene, "Like There's No Tomorrow" featuring LOUDPARK 10, but the masterpiece is " Made in Hell.” While it appears to be a documentary of the tour that became a splendid comeback, it actually shows the history of the evolution from black Chicago blues (Howlin' Wolf) to metal, along with the lyrics. HALFORD tends to be looked down upon because it is more modern than JUDAS PRIEST, but the storyteller is definitely Rob Halford himself. Although it was the latest (at the time) project that Steel God took seriously, there was a solid backbone behind it. It is a masterpiece clip that makes you realize its weight only now. [Clips from other projects (6 songs)] The last section includes clips from FIGHT and 2WO, which were just the beginnings of the era, as well as live clips from SKID ROW. Glenn Tipton also had a solo career, but no clips seem to have been produced. The coolest one is the ``WAR OF WORDS'' era. I still have mixed feelings about Rob, who took off the leather, but you can clearly see from the PV that he was trying to get close to the reality of the street. Considering that leather itself was born out of the European and American street sensibilities of the 1980s, it may have been a natural evolution. ``Delivering The Goods'' is a hyper duet of JUDAS PRIEST's famous song with Sebastian Bach, which shows off his street sense! The metallic look of the bus is very contemporary. And finally, "Blowout In The Radio Room" from Daimon's title work "A SMALL DEADLY SPACE" and "I Am A Pig" by Kuroshiji 2WO. By the time I get to this point, I feel like I can't keep up with it, but the two songs are enjoyable enough. And it's valuable because it's a clip created as a video work, and it's refreshing because it's not something you're used to seeing. You can check the world that Rob was aiming for in the 90s in high quality. Steel God clearly showed off his tremendous active presence and divine majesty in his masterpiece "FIREPOWER" and performances in Japan. But it's not just a 2018 miracle. They, and Rob, have always been at the forefront. That is why He has continued to be God to this day. This is a highly complete clip that summarizes the 26 years of steel god's footsteps. There are some air checks for some songs from the 90's, but most of them are official quality video works. JUDAS PRIEST/HALFORD - PROMO CLIPS 1992-2018 (82:35) JUDAS PRIEST 1. Burn In Hell 2.
