The revolutionary "BRITISH STEEL" album set the template for new heavy metal music and declared itself the "God of Steel" to the world. The iconic soundboard, which could be called the live version, has been unexpectedly upgraded! This CD, featuring the ultimate sound, is now available from overseas! This is an evolutionary version of the greatest full-SBD masterpiece in the history of steel! This work permanently preserves the "June 25, 1980 Denver performance." It features a superb stereo soundboard recording. This recording has long been known as the "best and strongest soundboard from the BRITISH STEEL Tour," and is a staple that has produced numerous previously released albums. While the pinnacle of its potential was the official version of our previously released "DEFINITIVE DENVER 1980" and the 50th anniversary box set, this is the ultimate album that surpasses both! The recording time and sound are crucial, but they're very similar to the official version. The previous album, "DEFINITIVE DENVER 1980," was even called "the masterpiece of leaked soundboards," but this one is even more robust, meaty, and tight. The previous album, with its more balanced sound, feels flashy on first listen, but that's probably due to the balance. While the previous album's vocals had a piercing quality, the new master eliminates even that subtle distortion. The sound is lustrous and beautiful, surpassing the official version. While the sound is very similar to the version included in the official box set, "50 HEAVY METAL YEARS OF MUSIC," this album surpasses even the official version in terms of subtle noise. If you have any pre-released albums (including the official versions), try listening to "Victim of Changes" or "The Green Manalishi" with headphones. You'll notice a small "zizzle" or "pizz" noise around "5:00" or "5:40" on "Victim Of Changes" or around "3:15-3:20" on "The Green Manalishi." This noise is present not only in the previously released but also in the official version, but it's beautifully tuned in this work. Perhaps those who have actually confirmed it may think, "I didn't notice such a small noise." While it's certainly a small matter compared to the overall sound upgrade, historic masterpieces demand the ultimate form. The Denver performance soundboard is also the ultimate live album, where even a stylus upgrade is important (the above are the improvements we noticed, but there may be more). A historic full live performance that spread the Steel God Declaration to the world. The "BRITISH STEEL Tour," which turned history upside down, is depicted with such quality beyond the official version. Let's take a look back at this historic full set. British Steel (4 songs): Living After Midnight, You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise, Grinder, Steeler (★); 70s Classics (9 songs): Wings of Destiny: The Ripper, Victim Of Changes, Genocide (★), Tyrant; Murder Machine: Hell Bent For Leather, Running Wild (★), The Green Manalishi (with the Two Pronged Crown); Others: Sinner, Beyond The Realms Of Death. Note: Songs marked with an "★" cannot be heard on the 80s soundboard from subsequent tours. ...And so it goes. Speaking of "BRITISH STEEL," "Breaking the Law," "Living After Midnight," and "Metal Gods" are the three classic songs, but in fact, neither "Breaking the Law" nor "Metal Gods" were performed in 1980. Instead (?), rare songs like "You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise" and "Steeler" are regularly included. Though the album was released, it wasn't yet clear which songs would become their signature tracks... This, too, is a powerful sense of real time. Even in the classics, Dave Holland's drumming tightens the ensemble, and "Genocide" and "Running Wild" are particularly rare tracks, having been shelved for over 20 years. And the highlight is "Steeler," which wasn't performed again for 29 years until the 2009 album reunion tour. The trance-like feel of the endless riffs allows you to experience the band's potential at the time. When was the birth of heavy metal? It's an eternal question that remains unanswered, even decades later. When The Beatles belted out "Helter Skelter," when Steppenwolf described the sound of a motorcycle engine as "heavy metal thunder," when the bells of Black Sabbath rang out... While there are many theories, it's clear that "BRITISH STEEL" was the deciding factor. The artwork, lyrics, and fashion all strongly emphasized "heavy metal," proclaiming, "This is heavy metal!" Regardless of one's starting point, "BRITISH STEEL = metal" remains unshakable. This release is the stage version of this monumental album era. It transcends the realm of a single band masterpiece and becomes the most important live album in the music genre, "heavy metal." This ultimate release surpasses the official releases and surpasses its peak. The ultimate stereo soundboard recording of the "June 25, 1980 Denver performance" delivers a bolder, thicker, and tighter sound than the previous "DEFINITIVE DENVER 1980" release, eliminating even the slightest bleeps of "Victim of Changes" and "The Green Manalishi," both of which were unavoidable even in the official 50th anniversary box set. This is the ultimate evolution of this historic masterpiece, a stage version of the revolutionary album "BRITISH STEEL."
