The sound board in Japan, which represents the greatest heyday, is reprinted with the ultimate quality that updates the highest peak. The heyday is, of course, "FRONTIERS". The ultimate sound board is the traditional FM sound source of the "March 2, 1983: Nippon Budokan" performance. This sound board is a classic among classics that can't be said in four or five. A certain public broadcasting station broadcast the Nippon Budokan, which was the highlight of the Japanese performance that was held at the same time as the release of the great masterpiece "FRONTIERS". It is a traditional sound board that has produced many existing releases, but this work is the ultimate board that further upgrades the highest peak master. [Quality beyond the peak of traditional sound boards] The origin of this work was the master that was excavated as "FRONTIERS IN TOKYO" five years ago and was acclaimed as the highest peak in history. Radio broadcasts are likely to sound good no matter who records them, but this master was clearly at a different level. The recording was made by the famous Miracle Man, a master who has produced many masterpieces in audience recordings, but he was first-class not only as a recorder but also as a recordist. The sound, which used the high-end equipment of the time and paid attention to the reception conditions, overwhelmed many of the previous groups. Air checks at that time were often weak and light sounds with weak bass, and it was not uncommon for them to be rough due to reception noise, but this master has a rich response in the mid-low range, and even the extended treble has a glossy feel. The glossy sound down to each note is completely official class... no, even by the official standards of the pin-kiri, it is a beautiful sound of the famous album class. It is a superb sound that has been rejected by all previous recordings and is still beyond anything. However, there are many obstacles to success. Although the basic sound was too wonderful, it was not perfect. There was one noise of less than 0.1 seconds in "Wheel In The Sky", and an abnormality due to tape twisting existed for several seconds each in "Frontiers", "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Separate Ways". On the other hand, despite such a disturbance, the basic quality was so high that it was called the highest peak in history, but this work completely repaired such defects. Noise was removed and uneven running at the limit of audibility was corrected. Parts that could not be recovered as they were were complemented with another air check master. In addition, the TV broadcast version of the sound board was also used instead of the radio broadcast. The beginning of "Chain Reaction", which was missing in the FM broadcast, was also reproduced. Of course, sound quality adjustment was also thoroughly carried out when connecting. Although it is not a full show even with radio + TV broadcast, you can enjoy the sound board of this day seamlessly without leaking the maximum. Moreover, it was polished overall. It has realized an extremely official definitive version specification with a more three-dimensional feel. [The first apex show where you can listen to super rare songs] Such an ultimate quality is drawn, exactly the supreme live in Japan. Here, let's check the position of the show from the schedule at that time. "FRONTIERS" released on February 22nd: February 22nd: Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium; February 24th + 25th: Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium; February 26th: Fukuoka Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium; February 28th: Kyoto Prefectural Gymnasium; March 1st: Nippon Budokan; March 2nd: Nippon Budokan [This work]; March 4th: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium This is the Japanese performance in the heyday. Japan is the kickoff point of the world tour that began at the same time as the release of "FRONTIERS". It was a moment of excitement when they took the world into their hands with "ESCAPE" and embarked on further re-uniformation. Moreover, the seventh performance is really delicious. It is a general rule, but even if you are a genuine live band, you will not show your true potential from the first day of the tour, and it is said that you will get used to a new set list after the 5th or 6th performance from the start of the tour. This work is the 7th performance, which is exactly where full-scale operation began. Furthermore, this was their first tour highlight performance, and they were not tired at all, and were fully motivated to achieve their first goal. It was a performance that was destined to be a masterpiece. And the content was also very rich. Of course, they played the classics "Wheel In The Sky", "Any Way You Want It", and "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'", but basically it was a concentrated reduction of "ESCAPE" and "FRONTIERS". Six songs were selected from each album, and it was like two great masterpieces were tightly packed into one. Moreover, they also played super rare songs such as "Frontiers" which was only dropped in the early days of the tour and "Don't Fight It" with Kenny Loggins. In our shop, we have also introduced the superb soundboard albums "NORMAN 1983: PRE-FM MASTER" and "PHILADELPHIA 1983: SUPERSTARS IN CONCERT" from the peak period, but these two songs cannot be heard even in such masterpieces. The ultimate master of the traditional sound board has been repaired, complemented, and polished. This is a truly "DEFINITIVE" live album that has achieved the highest quality. This is the first masterpiece of JOURNEY, which entered its climax, and the super rare "Frontiers" and "Don't Fight It" can be enjoyed with official masterpiece-class sound.
