The second day of their first performance in Japan in seven years, the Nippon Budokan performance on October 24th, which was finally the final performance, was recorded in full for 2 hours and 1 minute from the digital audience master released by Taper. If you listen normally, the sound quality is comparable to that of a soundboard, and the audience's applause and cheers are recorded in a strangely good balance, recreating the scene of the day. The set is almost the same as the North American tour that took place before the visit to Japan, with "Escape" and "Frontiers" as the axis, and these two works make up half of the set, while "Line Of Fire" from "Departure" and the new song "Let It Rain" from "FREEDOM" are removed on this day, but "When You Love A Woman" continues to be set in as a daily change. Therefore, although the number of songs played on this final day was the fewest of all four shows in Japan, a big point was that the set was changed every day. Also, perhaps because it was the last show, the members seemed to be playing at their most relaxed, and Neal Schon's guitar in particular was superb with every phrase. This Japan-only memorial item reproduces the performance in the best quality, befitting a fitting finale. Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan 24th October 2024 : from Original Masters Disc 1 : 1. Intro. 2.
