It's truly a "JOURNEY". A masterpiece road movie that will remain in rock video history has been revived with the highest quality ever. This work is a reprint of the official video "FRONTIERS....AND BEYOND!" released in 1984 from the Japanese laser disc. This is a masterpiece that you should see now that the complete reproduction live of "ESCAPE" and "FRONTIERS" is approaching. This work features a professional shot live of the great golden age as well as a documentary of the tour. There were rumors of an official DVD release in the past, but it has been abandoned for more than 10 years. In this work, we used a mint quality version that was treasured by a core maniac among the laser discs released only in Japan, and entrusted it to a specialized manufacturer overseas to make a DVD with the highest quality ever. The biggest point of this work is the trip feeling of going on the road with JOURNEY in the golden age. In the second half, you can see the live performance of "June 4, 1983 JFK Stadium Performance", which was the highlight of the US tour, but the first half is taken up with a documentary of the tour. This documentary is a masterpiece that you can't get anywhere else. It focuses on the band members as well as the crew, and you can experience the whole tour life of performing in a different place every night. The crew members ride in seven buses and three large trailers, build huge sets and test pyro at each destination. Each one of them is proud to work with JOURNEY and enjoys the rock 'n' roll life traveling together. At one time, they push the bus that is stuck in the snow with the members, and at another time, they talk about life and music on the bus. The members respect the crew, and the crew is proud of the members, and the friends say, "Rock 'n' roll can't be stopped. Listen, we're the ones who do the show. Right? That's why we're going no matter what." You can join them. Of course, the journey is not all fun and games. At one venue, they set up in the middle of a storm, and in another town, they have trouble with the audience. For example, at one show, an audience member throws a beer bottle onto the stage, injuring Neal Schon. As Steve Perry rages at the audience, the chaotic scene in the console room is shown on screen. Let's write out some of the conversations from that scene. Staff A: "The stage is in trouble! Neil's been hit. A beer bottle hit Neil!" Perry: "Please take a picture of this. Everyone's here to have fun. If you don't like it, come up here. Or get out! I don't know who you are, but come out!!" Staff A: "Perry is furious." Staff B: "What about the stage? Neil says he's going to continue." Staff A: "Neil's face is covered in blood. There, around his ear. Blood is almost on the bone..." In this tense atmosphere, Neil plays and sings "Here To Stay" while bleeding. The staff members are also excited and cheer him on, saying, "Wow! Neil is amazing. Go!" There are many trouble scenes in rock and roll history, but there is no other video that depicts the backstage and makes you feel the unity of the team. This film is a video that allows you to witness the scene. There are also legendary crew members known only to industry insiders and staff members who refuse to quit their jobs even if they break their arms, but of course the main character is JOURNEY. You can see the episode where Jonathan Kane wrote "Faithfully" from his life on tour, and the mood makers of Steve Smith and Ross Valory. It is a video that allows you to immerse yourself in the feeling of "becoming a part of it" because you are a fan of JOURNEY. And then, what awaits you at the end of the journey is the big show at JFK Stadium. It is a big concert with a huge audience of 90,000 people. You can watch the live performance of the big hits of "ESCAPE" and "FRONTIERS" in the highest quality, but even here it is a little different from ordinary live videos. Along with the members' passionate performances, the backstage crew running the show is also sandwiched. Crews supporting the production, passing instruments in the wings of the stage, sleeping with duct tape as pillows in the hallways and on the stairs. Of course, the performance is the main focus, but because they have been on this journey together, the masterpieces sound more brilliant than usual. For us, bands and rock are something we look at through albums and live shows. But the life of a musician is on the road. Every day, they clash with band members and crew, sometimes cooperate with each other, and create a show. This is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece video that will accompany those days. This is a road movie that only JOURNEY could have made in its prime. 34 years after this work, JOURNEY is coming again. It's great just to be immersed in the masterpieces, but this is a film that will make those feelings even deeper in your heart. This is an official work that lets you go on a journey with them and the masterpieces. The best video ever. A masterpiece of rock video that you should enjoy now.
