JOURNEY is heating up with the release of their first studio album in 11 years, "FREEDOM." The strongest video ever to witness their latest tour is here. What is "strongest"? An unprecedented front row experience. This is the birth of an incredible shocking video that is unparalleled in the entire history of JOURNEY! This work was filmed at the "Paso Robles performance on July 20, 2022." It is a superb audience shot from their appearance at the California music festival "MID STATE FAIR." Speaking of 2022 video works, the well-received masterpieces "PITTSBURGH 2022: THE VIDEO" and "SACRAMENTO 2022: THE VIDEO" are still fresh in our memory, but the position of this work has a slightly different meaning. To explain this, let's first review their recent situation on the schedule. 2022 {January: Marco replaced by Todd Jensen} ・February 22-May 7: North America #1 (39 performances) ← * Previous 2 works ・July 4: Appearance at The Fourth in America {"FREEDOM" released on July 8th} ・July 15-September 30: North America #2 (14 performances) ← ★ Here ★ 2023 ・March 1-12: North America #3 (4 performances) This is the 2022/2023 schedule that has been announced so far. The previous two works mentioned above were records of "North America #1" which announced the restart of JOURNEY, but "FREEDOM" was released afterwards. The Paso Robles performance of this work is the third performance of "North America #2" which was restarted after the release of the album. In other words, it is a new tour where new songs will also be performed. [Exclusive shots that go beyond the front row shot] This work, which vacuum-packed such a show, is a shockingly super-spectacular audience ... is, probably. No, in fact, it must be a video of the audience released by the photographer, but the view is so spectacular that it's hard to tell where the audience is. From the moment the show started, only Neal Schon appeared on screen, and after that, there was no audience at all, and all that was in view was the stage. It was probably a front row shot, but the real camera crew seemed to be on the side, not in front, and Arnel Pineda, who came forward and squatted down to sing, was at a distance that made it seem like he was talking to a friend in front of him. Rather, it was a super close-up shot that would be much more convincing if it was called a "one-camera professional shot from the camera pit." The superb sound further enhanced the professional shot feel of the scene. If you listen carefully with headphones, you can hear the sound that seems to be from the audience, but the zero-distance directness and tightness, as well as the fine details, are on par with a soundboard. In any case, rather than a concert experience video, it is a video that you can monopolize, "JOURNEY and me only." [The latest full show with new songs also performed] The latest JOURNEY full set can be enjoyed in such exclusive quality. Let's check out the contents. Escape (6 songs) Stone In Love / Don't Stop Believin' / Dead Or Alive / Who's Crying Now / Mother, Father / Open Arms Others (10 songs) Infinity: Lights / Wheel in the Sky Frontiers: Send Her My Love / Faithfully / Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) Running Through Time: Girl Can't Help It / Be Good To Yourself Others: Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' / Any Way You Want It / Only The Young / You Got The Best Of Me (★) *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that were not seen in "PITTSBURGH 2022: THE VIDEO" or "SACRAMENTO 2022: THE VIDEO". ...And so it is. Based on the masterpiece "ESCAPE", this is a rich greatest hits collection that takes the best parts of the previous two works. "The Way We Used To Be" was shown as a new song in "PITTSBURGH 2022: THE VIDEO", but in this work it has been replaced with "You Got The Best Of Me". Anyway, it's an extremely intense front row experience. That's all there is to it. The front row shot itself is valuable, but I've never seen a video with no other audience members so thoroughly. Even the sound is amazing. The strongest in JOURNEY history... No, it's an incredible video masterpiece that is unparalleled by any band/artist. A super-class audience shot from the "July 20, 2022 Paso Robles performance". It's probably taken from the front row shot, but the real camera crew looks like they're "side" instead of "in front", and Arnel Pineda, who comes forward, is at a distance like talking to a friend in front of him. Rather, it's a super close-up that would be much more convincing if it was called a "one-camera pro shot". This will be the strongest JOURNEY experience ever...no, it will be the ultimate front row experience, unparalleled by any band or artist.
