This is a high-quality live video recording of a live performance performed by a double trio with twin bass and twin drums. JOSHUA REDMAN further pursues the sound of an acoustic trio, challenges double rhythm section/double trio formation, and advances to even greater heights!!At first, he was aiming for a group sound with three fixed members. However, during his long tour, he had the opportunity to perform with different rhythm sections many times. That's when he suddenly got the idea, ``Maybe if we mixed this rhythm section together, we could get some interesting effects!'' “Double – trio” was born out of such an idea, but Joshua himself was worried at first that if the five of them played together, it would become a mess and it would get out of control. I'm sure each member felt the same way. Therefore, in order to avoid the disorderly chaos that would result from pounding and playing with all one's might, each player probably adopted a calm method of expression in which each player waited to see what the other was doing. No thrilling interplay will emerge from that.
