In 1995, John Sykes changed his band name to ``SYKES'' and released ``OUT OF MY TREE,'' which was based on the theme of ``British rock'' in the dark 90s. Two superb live albums that convey the scene will be released at the same time. Our store has archived many masterpieces of Sykes's performances in Japan, from his first visit to Japan with THIN LIZZY to his solo performances, but this time in 1995 is the first. This work is the best audience recording of the first performance, “December 5, 1995: Osaka Festival Hall”. This week, we will be releasing two titles at the same time, so let's first look back at the schedule at the time.・November 30: Tokyo Employees' Pension Hall ・December 3: Tokyo Employees' Pension Center ・December 4: Yokosuka Arts Theater ・December 5: Osaka Festival Hall ←★This work★ ・December 7: Kyoto Hall ← *KYOTO 1995 December 9th: Fukuoka Sun Palace December 11th: Kawaguchi Lilia Main Hall December 12th: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall A total of 8 performances. In the mid-90s rock scene, traditional HR/HM was in a disastrous state, and Sykes himself had unusually slow footwork. Even though they changed their name and regrouped, there were almost no global activities, and even now, the only performances that can be confirmed are the one in Japan and the one in LA that was broadcast on TV. The two performances released simultaneously this week were the core West Japan performances on such a Japan tour. This first work from the Osaka performance is a masterpiece recording that is like a sample of the best audience. It has been made into a CD from the 1st Gene DAT, which was copied directly from the original master, but the core is extremely thick and has a lot of closeness. There is a lively applause between the songs, and you can tell from the tone that it is an audience recording, but that is just ``understanding''. The trio ensemble with Marco Mendoza/Tommy Osteen is detailed down to the minute details of each note, and everything from the deep bass that shakes the venue to the high notes that extend well are captured beautifully. The heavy response doesn't feel at all sparse, and even when the band is strumming it, it doesn't freak out at all. That is a great recording that is comparable to FM broadcasts. What is depicted with such a neat sound is a full show that overflows and overflows with respect for its roots in "British rock". Speaking of the “OUT OF MY TREE” era, the familiar LA performance pro shot of “LIVE IN LOS ANGELES 1995” is a symbol, so let’s organize the set while comparing. BLUE MURDER/SYKES (10 songs)・Blue Murder: Riot/Jelly Roll/Billy・Nothing But Trouble: She Knows/We All Fall Down・Out of My Tree: Soul Stealer (★)/Standing at the Crossroads/I Don't Believe in Anything/ Jesus & Mary (★)/I Don't Wanna Live My Life Like You Others (6 songs)・THIN LIZZY: Cold Sweat/Jailbreak (★)/Thunder and Lightning (★ ) / Dancing in the Moonlight (★)・Solo: Please Don't Leave Me (★)・WHITESNAKE: Still of the Night *Note: Songs marked with “★” cannot be heard in the representative pro shot “LIVE IN LOS ANGELES 1995” . ...and it looks like this. The standard LA performance pro shot was in line with the broadcast time frame of less than one hour, but this work is a consistent solo full performance. The volume of songs over 100 minutes cannot be compared. Moreover, the contents are also special. The THIN LIZZY number and "Please Don't Leave Me" are also nice, but the new songs from "OUT OF MY TREE" are rare. As mentioned above, there is no world tour, so it is a valuable live album where you can enjoy a full show that includes five rare songs. This is a simultaneous release of sister works that will reveal at once the hitherto unexplored "arrival to Japan in 1995." This work itself is a world-class full live album from the "OUT OF MY TREE" era, and is a masterpiece of musical work with a quality similar to that of an FM soundboard. It is also essential for completing the history of John Sykes' visit to Japan. A two-disc set that you can listen to in any way you want. The best audience recording of the "December 5, 1995: Osaka Festival Hall" performance. It has been made into a CD from the 1st Gene DAT, but the core is extremely thick and has a lot of closeness. This is a delicious full live album full of famous songs that you can't hear even on the standard pro shot "LIVE IN LOS ANGELES 1995" such as "Soul Stealer", "Jesus & Mary", "Jailbreak", and "Dancing in the Moonlight".
