In 1995, John Sykes changed his band name to ``SYKES'' and released ``OUT OF MY TREE,'' which was based on the theme of ``British rock'' in the dark 90s. Two superb live albums that convey the scene will be released at the same time. This work is the second such simultaneous release. This is the best audience recording of the "December 7, 1995: Kyoto Kaikan" performance. I will leave the tour schedule for 1995 to the explanation of the sister work "OSAKA 1995", but here I will change the theme a little and organize the collection that came to Japan after BLUE MURDER. 1989: Blue Murder era/NIPPON SEINENKAN 1989 DAT MASTER 1993: Nothing But Trouble era/NOTHING BUT TROUBLE IN TOKYO/NAGOYA 1993 DAT Master 1994: Reunion THIN LIZZY/TOKYO 1994 2ND NIGHT/HEALING PRAYERS/JAPAN TOUR 1994 VOL.1 & 2 1995: Out of My Tree era ←★Coco★・OSAKA 1995/KYOTO 1995 1998: Loveland/20TH Century era・OSAKA 1998 2004・OSAKA 2004/NAGOYA 2004 This is John. A live album collection where you can experience Sykes' performance in Japan. In addition to the above, there are also THIN LIZZY/WHITESNAKE from the 1980s, but here I have narrowed it down to BLUE MURDER, when he started singing on his own. We have archived Live in Japan from each era with the best recordings, but until now only 1995 was missing. The two books released simultaneously this week fill in that missing link. Now you can experience the entire visit to Japan with a live album. What's more, it's not just a complement to your collection; it's also one of the highest quality items of all time. Like the simultaneously released "OSAKA 1995", it was created from the 1st Gene DAT copied from the original master, and the sound is very similar. The extremely thick core and fine details are outstanding, and the sound is extremely neat. In "OSAKA 1995", I wrote that it "doesn't lose to FM broadcasting", and this work is exactly the same. In that there are few spectators up close, it is the best sound where you can enjoy the strong and meaty performance sound even more intensely. What is drawn with such a thick sound is a delicious full show with the valuable “OUT OF MY TREE” number. The set may be the same as "OSAKA 1995", but let's organize it here according to the history of Sykes' visit to Japan. BLUE MURDER/SYKES (10 songs)・Blue Murder: Riot/Jelly Roll/Billy・Nothing But Trouble: She Knows/We All Fall Down・Out of My Tree: Soul Stealer/Standing at the Crossroads ( ★) / I Don't Believe in Anything (★) / Jesus & Mary (★) / I Don't Wanna Live My Life Like You Others (6 songs)・THIN LIZZY: Cold Sweat/Jailbreak/Thunder and Lightning/Dancing in the Moonlight・Solo: Please Don't Leave Me・WHITESNAKE: Still of the Night *Note: Songs marked with a “★” were not heard when I came to Japan in other years. ...and it looks like this. The highlight is the new songs from “OUT OF MY TREE.” When I think of ``searching for roots,'' Gary Moore's ``WILD FRONTIER'' comes to mind, but it doesn't go back to folk songs like that song, but songs like THE BEATLES, CREAM, SWEET (and of course THN LIZZY) are sprinkled with numbers that capture the essence of British rock. In particular, the three songs "Standing at the Crossroads," "I Don't Believe in Anything," and "Jesus & Mary" have not been performed at other performances in Japan, and strongly appeal to the mood unique to 1995. . For that matter, "Jailbreak". There is no "★" because he played in the reunion of THIN LIZZY the previous year, but he only came to Japan solo in 1995. Of course, since it is a solo, it is a valuable version of Sykes' single guitar. In terms of composition, the drummer is also important. Since 1993, his partner Marco Mendoza has always played bass, but the drummer has changed frequently. In 1995, the same Tommy Osteen as in 1993 BLUE MURDER is sitting on a stool. Although he doesn't have the same name value as later Tommy Aldridge, it can be said that Osteen's compatibility with Marco is better. Not only “Soul Stealer” and “I Don’t Wanna Live My Life Like You” but also “Thunder and Lightning” will make you listen to it in a slightly different groove than in later years. John Sykes has performed solo live performances in Japan, including official performances such as ``SCREAMING BLUE MURDER'' and ``BAD BOY LIVE!''. This is a new excavated live album where you can enjoy the full show of 1995, which is essential to the history of coming to Japan. This 2-disc set includes plenty of rare songs that he wrote by digging into his own roots. The best audience recording of the "December 7, 1995: Kyoto Kaikan" performance. It is a famous product created from the 1st Gene DAT, and the extremely thick core and fine details are outstanding, and the sound is extremely neat. This is a great recording that rivals FM broadcasts. A full live album full of valuable ``OUT OF MY TREE'' numbers, including ``Standing at the Crossroads'', ``I Don't Believe in Anything'', ``Jesus & Mary'', and singles that were not performed in other years in Japan. You can experience the best repertoire exclusive to 1995, such as the guitar arrangement of "Jailbreak."
