John Scofield/Germany 1994-1995

We have received a video item that combines two types of John Scofield live footage from the mid-90s, both of which are recorded in the highest official quality. First of all, the first half is a digitally remastered recording of professional shot footage from when he appeared on the Jazz Baltica stage in Germany on July 14, 1995 with the Scandinavian Trio consisting of Knut Riisnaes, Lars Danielsson, and Jon Christensen. This collaboration with the tranquil sound that is typical of Scandinavian jazz sounds gives us a glimpse of a new side of the charm of Scofield's blues feel. On the other hand, the second half will be a professional shot of the 6/29 stage in Stuttgart, Germany, from the 1994 collaboration live tour with Pat Metheny, famous for "Summertime", and will also be digitally remastered. Only two songs are included with an interview in between, but the sound that brings a funk feel to the forefront and the full-throttle performance of Schofield's music, which is completely different from the first half, are a masterpiece, due to the earnest collaboration with Pat Metheny.
