This live performance at the Chiasso Cinema Teatro in Switzerland on November 23rd was recorded with a soundboard-level digital audience recording from the Euro tour accompanying the release of the unit's third album, "Now Hear This," in 2012. The members are Gary Husband, known for his work with Allan Holdsworth and others, Etienne Mba, who also participated in the Zawinul Syndicate, on bass, and Ranjit Barrow, who replaced him on drums at the time of recording the album. Although the refined and calm atmosphere of the previous album has faded, the rough and powerful drumming has made the band itself full of passion, which can be said to be an indication of McLaughlin's intention not to make it a standard quartet. Then, starting with the opening song "Guitar Love," four songs from the same album, "Call And Answer," "Riff Raff," and "Echoes From Then," are performed, and Ranjit's drumming here is truly astonishing. The band's combination is further developed and the band is taking its first steps, and the best performance and sound are here. 1. Guitar Love/2. Little Miss Valley/3. Abbaji/4.
