4th Dimension, led by John McLaughlin, will start a joint tour with Jimmy Herring, a virtuoso guitarist who is attracting attention from guitar freaks all over the world in the modern jazz scene, titled "The Meeting of the Spirits," in the fall of 2017. The live performance in Port Chester, New York on November 4th was live streamed on the web, and the pro-shot footage was released on Blu-ray in official quality for 3 hours and 18 minutes. First of all, taking advantage of the large capacity of Blu-ray, in addition to the original HD quality footage, the sound quality is also perfect, recorded on a PCM stereo sound board, which is a different dimension of quality from the same footage already available on YouTube and the DVD mastered from it. The first part of this tour is a set by each band, and the biggest attraction is the reproduction of the 70's Mahavishnu Orchestra by both bands, which has already become a hot topic among jazz fans all over the world.
