August 1, from a short tour in 1982 when McLaughlin led the Translators, also known as the Belo Horizonte Band, in between his stints with the Super Guitar Trio with DiMeola and Paco de Lucía. Recorded live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Japan, with stereo soundboard sound source from local FM on-air master. First of all, with the backing of twin keyboards, bass, and drums, McLaughlin shows off his transcendental playing on acoustic guitar, which is a completely different approach from Mahavishnu's band sound or super guitar trio. Since their activity period was short, this is a live recording that captures valuable performances and is a must-see for fans. 1. Belo Horizonte/2. David/3. La Baleine/4. Blues for Lech Wolensa/5.
