John Lennon/TV Shows 1969 & 1971

John's two TV appearances in 1969 and 1971, rebroadcast in 1996-97! On the D. Frost Show on July 10, 1969, during the Beatles era, John played the just-released Unfinished Opus No. 2 on the LP player at the venue, and John responded to Frost's quizzical look with his usual quick wit. On the Dick Cavett Show on September 12, 1971, after the release of the album Imagine, John held a stethoscope up to Cavett, and the Imagine music video, the famous explanation of the initials LSD in Lucy, and a Q&A with the audience.
