The soundboard album of THE JOE PERRY PROJECT (JPP) is back. JPP is a band founded by Joe Perry, who left AEROSMITH in July 1979. The band was formed in November 1979, and released their debut album "LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING" in March 1980. This work is an FM sound source of the "Rosslyn performance on March 29, 1980", which was the early part of their debut tour. This master was also released in 2001 under the title "WALK THIS WAY" by the Masterport label, and at the time, the precious live line sound was praised. In fact, what flows out of this work is a high-quality soundboard with plenty of direct feeling like FM broadcasting. Although it is not as vivid as a direct connection to the desk, it is a wonderful sound that sounds fresh without tape deterioration. Due to the broadcast time slot, there is a fade between "Talk Talk" and "Bright Light Fright", but this is probably all the songs that were performed that day (the complete set list has not been released, but no more songs have been confirmed on the previous or following dates). The live performance is full of the best rock and roll, with Joe's guitar roaring more than AEROSMITH and screaming "This is my music!". In particular, the heavy blues "Reefer Headed Woman", which layers phrases that seem to burst with passion through the guitar, is the best. In the AEROSMITH numbers that are performed at key points and "Let The Music Do The Talking", which will later be self-covered, you can't help but feel the difference in the vocals of Ralph Moman (who died in 2014), but the numbers on the debut album "LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING", of which six of the nine songs are performed, are flawless. In the first place, there is no way they could be compared to the most charismatic frontman in the history of rock music, and Ralph sings passionately and passionately, without breaking the "world of Joe Perry". In fact, Ralph left the band three months after the tour began, so the live performance with the same four people as on the album is very valuable. The early THE JOE PERRY PROJECT left AEROSMITH to face their own rock and try to prove it again. It's a band that is often overlooked, but no, that's why Joe's burning passion is here. This is a definitive album that will fill your ears with that hot guitar sound via direct FM recording. Live at My Father's Place, Roslyn, New York, USA 29th March 1980 (64:22) 1.
