Joe Henderson, a tenor who debuted with Blue Note in the 60s and was active with Milestone and other labels, recorded his performance at Jazz in Marciac, a jazz festival that has established a worldwide reputation and solid position, on August 12, 1994, on a 2-disc set of superb stereo soundboard recordings. Enjoy his performance of a solo with his unique thick tone, conveying the roughness and tension that can only be experienced at a live performance. This is a wonderful item that allows you to listen to a live take of "Blue Bossa," a song composed by Kenny Dorham and included in Joe Henderson's masterpiece "Page One." DISC 1 1. Isfahan (09:02) 2.
