A super band formed by guitarist/vocalist Robben Ford and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, based on the idea of Yellow Jackets bassist Jimmy Haslip, and is a trio that is highly regarded in the talented L.A. scene. Last year, Jin Chi released his first new album in 13 years, ``Supremo,'' and began a tour to accompany it. Listening to this live show, I realized that Jin Chi is not so much a fusion band, but a rock trio like Eric Clapton's Cream, Jeff Beck's BB&A, and the hard sounds of Led Zeppelin led by Jimmy Page.
