Included in this work is the "February 17, 1996: Nagoya Century Hall" performance. This is the audience shot. This video is a classic that has been familiar to fans since then. This is a screen shot taken directly from the venue monitor. I think there are many people who have seen the previous episodes, but this work is not a copy of that. It is a master obtained through a unique route, and it is the original that includes the opening part and the first song "Heartbreaker", which was previously the logo mark. However, that part was unstable due to a failure in filming (which is probably why it was cut from the previous edition), but from around "Bring It On Home" it became very stable. The close-up view of the screen is almost a multi-camera professional shot. The close-up of Plant's expression is such that you can see the alignment of his teeth, and Paige's fingertips are also super close-up. The switching is also professional, and the angles that show the two people lined up and the selection of highlights are just like a solid video work. However, when you imagine a perfect official video, it's a little different. First of all, due to the fate of screen shots, there are almost no visible scenes. The screen images at the concert venue are only for viewing by the audience at the venue. Since the main purpose is to deliver a close-up shot of the members to distant guests, there is no need to show a full view of the stage that everyone in the venue can see directly. Another point is that the face tends to slightly protrude from the screen. I thought this was a filming error, but it turns out it was actually caused by the on-site crew. I don't know if it's a mistake or just a matter of taste, but even if it goes all the way to the top of the screen, the face is still cut off. Of course, these points are based on the idea of a perfect official video work... It is full of the real pleasure of enjoying a full show with a professional shot feeling that is different from normal audience shots. The sound is what enhances the feeling of being a professional shot. It is a different recording from the 2CD, but it is also super superb. It's like a soundboard, with a very thick core that doesn't give you a sense of distance, detailed details down to the breathing of the plant, and hall sounds that you can't detect even when listening with headphones. What is even more surprising is the strangely distant audience noise. I don't know if it's the sound of the camera or microphone, but the enthusiasm between songs is far away, and it doesn't come between the extremely thick performance sounds and singing voices. Realistic audience recordings tend to feel out of place with multi-camera scenes where the sense of distance changes all the time. However, since this work has a super direct sound that makes it impossible to know the recording position, it deliciously enhances the professional shot feeling without causing any discomfort with any angle. This work allows you to enjoy 2CDs with Omoto DAT sound and multi-camera-like screen shots. This is a set of a live album and video work that allows you to experience the best night in Nagoya 25 years ago. A luxurious project where you can collect top records all at once.
