Introducing the best video of his career's only solo tour "OUTRIDER TOUR 1988". When it comes to videos from this tour, "OUTRIDER IN PHOENIX" and "OUTRIDER IN NASSAU COLISEUM" are the standard, but this work is a superb video that can be called the "third masterpiece." When he came to the store, he really liked ``OUTRIDER IN NASSAU COLISEUM'' and went to see it.He didn't feel like he was "amused" or "curious," but he just stared at it for a long time, engrossed in it. I had a chat with him and said, ``This song...'' It seems like it was a very memorable tour for him as well.) Quiet talk. Let's get back to this work. The true identity of this work, which is the “third masterpiece,” is an audience shot taken at the “New Haven Performance on November 3, 1988.” In contrast to the MTV pro shot “OUTRIDER IN PHOENIX” and the elaborate multi-camera editing “OUTRIDER IN NASSAU COLISEUM,” this work is “an audience completely recorded in one camera.” When you put it into words, it sounds like it has less impact than professional shots or multi-camera editing, but of course that's not the case in reality. In fact, it is a work by the same maniac who created the masterpiece multi-camera ``OUTRIDER IN NASSAU COLISEUM'', but the quality of this work is such that there is no need to make it multi-camera. In fact, the angle of this film is a shot looking down from the right side of the stage (Page side), but perhaps because I was in the front row seat on the second floor, I couldn't see any other audience members at all! There is no shadow of the head or arms of the front row, and there is no obstruction of any kind. What's more, even when zooming in or pulling away, it feels extremely stable, and even the audience in the first floor seats cannot be seen. It is a superb field of view where the entire field of view is occupied by the live music centered around Page, concentrating solely on the stage. Moreover, the picture and sound quality are excellent. Of course, since it was the 1980s, the video was shot in analog format, but it looks beautiful even when zoomed in as much as possible, and you can even see the wrinkles in Page's costume. Furthermore, the freshness of the master is amazing, and it is extremely beautiful with not even a single line noise, let alone deterioration of color development or tape twisting. The sound is as clear as the visual beauty, as there are no obstructions. As expected, it is not like the pro shot “OUTRIDER IN PHOENIX” that can be swung left and right with direct stereo, but the detail of the musical sound is the same. On top of that, the big applause is well-inhaled, and it is truly one of the best “on-site experiences”. Yes, this “best experience” is the life of this work. Of course, professional shots and multi-camera editing are great, but it's definitely different from experiencing it as a single spectator. Because this work is a one-camera film, there is a rich sense of immersion and experience that comes from the perspective of one person. And it's also wonderful because the environment is the best. The venue was the now-defunct “New Haven Coliseum,” but not all of the approximately 10,000 people who packed there were able to see it with the best view and sound. The master was stationed in the best position where he could see everything, and he captured the whole story with the best equipment of the time. Not only is it a show that is out of reach for us today, but it is also a “superb experience” that only a limited number of fans at the time could experience, and it is one that will let you taste it. The only solo tour drawn with that quality is truly wonderful. After LED ZEPPELIN was disbanded, Page, who had been in a lot of trouble, returned to the forefront. We will also play new songs from “OUTRIDER” and THE FIRM, but above all, the performance that seems to have opened up the ZEP number is refreshing. John Miles, who sings them, is also wonderful, and although his voice is reminiscent of Robert Plant, he doesn't try to imitate him. After all, this type of voice is suitable for Page music, and it is much more natural than COVERDALE / PAGE, which felt somewhat unreasonable, and even THE FIRM number sings beautifully. Jimmy Page's solo tour “OUTRIDER TOUR 1988” was realized only once 28 years ago. This is the return of Page, who was still in his 40s, and records the moment when he sublimated ZEP as "his own music." A superb video that is the closest to a "real experience" that you could never hope for in Japan. Live at New Haven Coliseum, New Haven, CT. USA 3rd November 1988 AMAZING SHOT Disc 1 (55:48) 1.
