Co-starring with THE BLACK CROWES, who had a unique shine even in the "90s Jimmy Page". This work was filmed at the Greek Theater on October 18th and 19th, 1999, which was the basis for the official version of LIVE AT THE GREEK. This is a sound check conducted on-site prior to the actual performance, and the first day "October 18th" is recorded for about 13 minutes, and the second day "October 19th" is recorded for about 19 and a half minutes. The footage is taken using a handheld camera by the staff, and the quality is top notch. The screen, which appears to have been digitized directly from the master, has no deterioration or dubbing marks, and the colors are glossy. Although it is different from the so-called professional shot, it is more than enough to be used as an official document video. The first appearance will be on the first day "October 18th". The scene of "The Lemon Song" being played on a sepia-colored screen is almost a one-camera professional shot. Page and Chris Robinson are captured from behind the drum kit, and there is plenty of zoom of Page. Heading to the venue where there is no audience, you can witness Page playing the guitar seriously and comfortably. The following "Custard Pie," "Jam #1," and "Jam #2" are made with audio overlaid on frame-by-frame video, probably because there is no seamless video master. It's a shame that the movement is so jerky, but you can witness this valuable scene in full color. And the overlaid audio is also wonderful. I think it was recorded by a camera microphone at the scene, but since they were on stage together, it felt completely direct. Everything from casual phrases to conversational voices in meetings are clearly recorded, and even if there are no scenes, it is a superb recording that will leave you feeling choked up by the feeling of the scene. Even though it's a sound check, you can enjoy plenty of Page's guitar playing passionately. And even more amazing is the second day, “October 18th.” There is no frame-by-frame movement here, and the video moves smoothly in full color (sepia from the middle of "You Shook Me"). Filming starts from behind the drum kit, but you can freely move around the stage and sit in on the sound check from various angles. Page bursts into laughter while strumming his Stratocaster and chatting with the staff. Page checks the timing with Audrey Freed holding a Les Paul. This is a valuable video that allows you to clearly see not only his facial expressions but also his moving hands. Jimmy Page is carefully checking the stage for the official live album "LIVE AT THE GREEK". This is a valuable video collection where you can sit in on the sound check and experience the same scene next to Page. Soundcheck at the Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, CA.
