Jimi Hendrix's 1969 Royal Albert Hall is summarized in the highly popular "ROYAL ALBERT HALL 1969 2ND NIGHT COMPLETE". In addition, it was a famous sound source that had been around since the days of analog LPs. In that respect, an audience recording of the first day of the RAH was unearthed in the 1990s. It is certainly valuable that Aud was left behind from a live performance of this era, but it is also true that the sound quality was the limit of the 1969 Aud. That also made Jimi's RAH unshakable in its reputation as the second day, but it was only in 2018 that a stereo soundboard recording of the first day, the existence of which had not even been confirmed until then, was unearthed. Even this Aud has been appreciated, but the impact of a soundboard would be immeasurable, but the sound quality was so good that enthusiasts were excited. The sound quality is so good that it could be officially released in stereo as it is. It was immediately released by labels such as Eat A Peach and Moonchild. More than five years have passed since the discovery of the stereo sound board on the first day of RAH, which shocked enthusiasts around the world with these releases. The files from the first day of RAH, sent by overseas enthusiasts, have a clearly better sound quality than the master from 2018. The biggest difference is that compared to this version, the 2018 version had a compressed, swishy feeling when it came to songs such as "Foxy Lady" and "Purple Haze," where Mitch Mitchell's cymbals stand out. More than that, because this version is not compressed, it gives you a natural and clear sound spread, as if the sound quality itself has been peeled off. This is not due to equalization, but is clearly born from the good condition of the sound source itself. It is truly worthy of being called a higher-level master. At this point, it is a stereo sound board that is in no way inferior even if it is finally released officially. In addition, this stereo sound board has cuts between songs, and the 2018 version already had the audience recording patched into the relevant part when the sound source was released. In other words, it was "compressed" and "filled" by the sound source owner before it was distributed. However, this time it is in a natural and clear state without compression, and there is no Aud compensation. It is clear from this that it is in the state before it was tampered with as in 2018. We did not dare to compensate for the Aud in the cuts between songs for this release. That's because that Aud was far away and hazy, and the hiss noise was a bad recording with a harsh sound. And in front of the improved sound quality of this stereo sound board, there are too many differences in sound quality. In addition, the compensation was not related to the performance, and there were many scenes where no sound was heard. This time, by daring to omit these small tricks, you can listen to the whole work carefully as the best stereo sound board album without any sense of incongruity in the sound source. And it should be said that Jimi's live performance, which shows a completely different look depending on the day, is a completely different live performance from the second day of RAH.
