As expected, this false credit was discovered by the RAH rights holders and the matter went to court, so the current official Jimi reissue of "IN THE WEST" reluctantly decided not to use the RAH take, and the genuine San Diego recording was used. In addition, although it was released under the name of "IN THE WEST", the order of the songs was also changed, which made many enthusiasts wonder, "Can this really be called 'IN THE WEST'?" The original "IN THE WEST" released in 1972 was a wonderful compilation of Jimi's live takes from each era on one LP, and the fact that it included RAH's take, especially the famous performance of "Little Wing", made it a favorite among enthusiasts. There is no trace of it in the current version, and as a result, the value of the original "IN THE WEST" that was released on CD in Japan and Europe in the late 1980s is still preserved.
