With the 50th anniversary of Tull's debut approaching in 2018, Ian Anderson is touring the world in 2017 as part of the "JETHRO TULL BY IAN ANDERSON TOUR." This DVD contains a 97-minute high-quality audience recording of the live performance from the fall North American tour, including the performance in Mashantucket, Kentucky on November 4th. Ian's flute tone is particularly wonderful, and even his breathing is realistic and lustrous. As the tour title suggests, the entire album is full of Tull numbers, especially early 60s numbers, and six of the songs on this day were pre-"STAND UP" numbers. Also, a guest appeared on "Heavy Horses," an Icelandic female singer, and "Aqualung" featured a duet with Ian. The highlight was a rush of "AQUALUNG" numbers followed by the solo-only "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor," with the crowd getting excited with "My God," "Aqualung," and "Locomotive Breath," bringing the paradise show to a close.
