A superb soundboard album from the "WHO ELSE!" era is here. The soundboard is from the "June 2, 1999: Tokyo International Forum" performance. This show was also broadcast as a professional shot and is famous as a representative concert of 1999. However, the sound this time is different from the past. Not only is it the highest peak ever, but it is a superb live album of a level that exceeds the understanding of why the sound is so amazing. Such quality is a concern, but first of all, the position of the show. At our shop, we have archived a number of masterpiece live albums from the tour that came to Japan for the first time in 10 years. Let's organize the collection by date.・May 23: Tokyo Bay NK Hall ・May 25: Kanagawa Prefectural Hall "BLAST FROM THE EAST" ・May 26: Aichi Welfare Pension Hall ・May 28: Fukuoka Civic Hall ・May 29: ZEPP OSAKA "ZEPP OSAKA 1999" ・May 30: Osaka Festival Hall ・May 31: Tokyo International Forum ・June 2: Tokyo International Forum [This work] ・June 3: Tokyo International Forum "TOKYO 1999 FINAL NIGHT" A total of 9 performances. There were three consecutive performances at the Tokyo International Forum, and this work was the concert on the middle day. Now, the essential quality. It is a master brought by a unique route, but this is truly phenomenal. We have also introduced high-quality pro shots recorded digitally (also included as a bonus for this work), but it is even more wonderful and much richer than that DVD that was said to be the ultimate and zero degradation. The difference is obvious at a glance, and the sound is completely different. Each note rises, reaches its peak, and then disappears into the silent darkness. The process depicts a smooth mountain, with a solid presence. The best masters to date have also been intense and clear, but the peak is flat, and after that it disappears without conveying the reverberation. For example, in the intro of "Psycho Sam", fine phrase particles fly left and right in stereo, but the response and depth of each particle is completely different. Furthermore, the deep bass synth that roars in "Star Cycle" has a different level of vibration fineness and three-dimensionality. These points are just examples, and every note is in a completely different dimension. Of course, this is not a mastering effect. For example, if the sound that has passed the peak disappears early, it is impossible to produce the sound after that by mastering. If it is poorly shifted or an effect is applied, the edges will become blurred. There is no blurring in this work, and it clearly lets you hear the awesomeness of the master himself. Why was it possible to record such a sound? I think that the composition and mix of the cut "Led Boots/Drum Solo" and "Where Were You" are the same as the TV broadcast... In fact, the master of this work is the same route as the super-famous albums such as Eric Clapton's "BUDOKAN 2009 5TH NIGHT", SADE's "PROMISE IN TOKYO", and JOURNEY's "BUDOKAN 2013". Although these are also popular soundboards, they have been highly praised as ultra-high quality sounds that no one has ever heard before. That miracle was also realized by Jeff Beck. When drawn with such a transcendent sound, the show becomes even more wonderful. To be honest, this day can not be called the "best performance", as there were mistakes in "Blast From The East" and the strings broke in "Blue Wind". However, the performance itself is filled with the heat of Beck, who was conscious of the broadcast recording, and even if he beats the rhythm or spins a phrase whimsically, it is cut with a slash. That enthusiasm is intensely vivid and richly colored, creating an exquisite sound world. It's a classic sound board, but it's a microcosm of sound never heard before. It's easy to call it "official class," but no official work has such beautiful sound. It's a masterpiece among masterpieces, with plenty of "art of sound" that goes beyond just good sound. A masterpiece of music art where the "beauty" that melts your heart with just one sound overflows for about 88 minutes, and you can immerse yourself in that world with your whole body.
